These are perfect over leggings! I love them for ballet and dance, where they lend the standard leotard a generous amount of additional modesty. They do the same for leggings, naturally... Panty-lines, no more! And they're a cute, comfy boy-short for lounging around the house. They have A LOT of stretch, like they'd fit almost anyone... Should one know how to wear them. Which brings me to the matching leg-warmers, which you'll most certainly want if you have these. Ships fast.

Great dance shorts
I love these dance shorts because they're extremely comfortable. The only complaint is that they are a bit small so go a size up.

These are wonderful! I was worried they'd be too small, but they fit just right. They're wonderful! So comfy and stayed right in place the whole dance class. I didn't have to pull them up or fuss with them at all. They didn't get any fuzzies on my tights either, which sometimes happens with legwarmers and such. These are awesome! I definitely recommend them as a treat to yourself or a gift for a dancer, especially ballet dancers.

Runs small but stretches a lot! It will stretch the more you dance in them. Keeps booty warm in the cold studio.

Fits a tiny 11 year old
My daughter is about 65 pounds and small for her age and the xs just fits-runs small so buy up a size or two!
