Entertaining and educational
The Magic School Bus never lets me down! As a preschool science teacher, I use these videos to supplement what we are learning about. The little ones love MSB and request to watch them over and over again. In this video, they explore volcanoes and eruptions. The scientific language is used correctly and they illustrate each point in ways that children can understand. Two thumbs up for MSB!

MAGIC SCHOOL BUS UNDERWATER VOLCANO
I liked the video. I teach 6th grade and we have done tectonic plates & volcanoes. It was a fun review for the students and they could enjoy the cartoon as well. I would recommend it.

HOMESCHOOLING WITH THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS
My twentysomething kids still quote facts they learned from The Magic School Bus. This is a wonderful upbeat fast-paced clever introduction to science. As a homeschool parent, one of the things I have learned to appreciate is that books and videos made for kids get to the heart of a subject and teach the essentials, whereas the same material aimed at adults can get rather long-winded and bogged down in endless detail. In other words, parents, watch with your kids! You’ll likely learn something.Note that there is a new updated series The Magic School Bus Rides Again on Netflix. If you buy the books, be sure to get the rectangular ones (wide, not tall) which give loads of additional facts, not the square ones which are just a rehash of the episodes. There are also some Young Scientist Club kits. You can really turn The Magic School Bus products into a great homeschool curriculum.
