Must HAVE book for EVERYONE
This book goes into depth with impeccable research, one of which supplies references and notes for every point made. NO ONE CAN REFUTE THE FACTS IN THIS BOOK. This book is far from conjecture, and speculation; it's a literary masterpiece. A work immersed with unbiased intent. To proclaim that a legacy has been stolen, you would without equivocation have to deliver on empirical evidence; overwhelming evidence that validates the title; "Stolen Legacy."You can see how modern Christianity and all world religions in some way or fashion still carry the influence of what the Egyptian Mystery schools taught. The current world as we know it is a result of Egypt and the influences it passed on. Though diluted and reconfigured to match the psychosis of the Caucassian, nevertheless the themes of sprituality, and nature are readily conceptualized today. If not conceptualized, it's then strategically and intentionally opposed with a caucassian worldview inserted to be in stark contrast to the mystery systems originated from Africa. It's a crime of epic proportions to plaguerize on the level from whence this false philosohers of Greek and Athens did. It's psychotic to steal what was not originally yours, then put out what you stole as if you were the originator, all the while systemically oppressing the race of people who produced the same system you use today while you manipulate it for personal gain using it multi-purposely in relgion, education and other walks of life for selfish gain and personal destruction for the Afrikan who you stole it from. This is all done without giving credit to the progenitors (Afrika) of such. History as been his (caucassian) story. A compilation of lies twisted as facts then taught as truth producing indoctrinated minds that ONLY see the Afrikan as a savage, and uncivilized. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nothing could be further from the truth that the Greek who emerged from the mountains from caves civilized Afrika. An Afrika that was far already advanced deep into tbeir dynastic lineage.I recommend this book for anyone who cares about truth and facts. If you care more about your emotions and the constant cultivation of your religious beliefs and myopic worldview this book is NOT for you.

TRUTH AT ITS FINEST!!! MUST READ!!!
REVIEW FOR AFRICAN WORLD PRESS EDITION (1992)The Author did an excellent job cross examining the texts subscribed to present his the truth. Many references are cited within this work and upon careful cross-examination along with research we conclude this as a well put together history lesson. Stolen Legacy by George G.M. James is one of my most favorites now having read it. It wasn't a fly through. I had to highlight and read some parts again because I had to let this knowledge register to me. It's important to READ ALL CHAPTERS EVEN THE NOTES & APPENDIX as well. The book has an index as well. This is a history lesson of truth. I recommend it to all people but especially Black/African Americans who are on the journey of raising their consciousness. This book is also greatly complimented by Theophile Obenga's book "Ancient Egypt & Black Africa." These jewels are presented to you, so read thoroughly. I highly recommend it!!! I wish I would've read this book as a child. This book was alleged to have been suppressed from the time it was published (1954) up until the 1970s and there's rumor that a plot against George G.M. James commenced as a result of this work. Whether or not both rumors are true, his work is recognized and I'm glad I finally read it. It seems that the legacy of North Africa substantiated civilization as we know it today and that "borrowing" from African people has continued up into the 20th century and beyond. I digress, this book will signify liberation for the reader!!!

An important book, regardless of its faults
Any book that can render this kind of reaction by intellectuals and regular folk alike should be on everyone's reading list. In today's culture of complaint, people hide bad art and cheap sensational ideas behind political/ideological fads and the automatic public reactions to their support or refutation all the time. Yet even with a healthy skepticism firmly in place, one must look at the thought provoking questions that this book demands are asked--and the near automatic visceral emotions that seem to go with them.I read this book several years ago in college. Though I didn't particularly like the preachy style, or much of the rhetoric seemingly impossible to prove scientifically, it successfully started me on an intellectual journey through a plethora of Egyptological authors of the past two centuries and a spiritual awakening. This book, I am reminded, has such power, because it raises more uncomfortable questions than it answers. Before or even after an opinion of this work has become set in stone in one's mind (usually inspired by an emotional knee-jerk reaction, as if the book is little more than a political metaphor and not an attempt to rediscover the actual ancient world) one must ask themselves, as I was again forced to upon re-reading it:Have you actually READ the book?Have you read [email protected]'s review of this yet (June 29, 1998)? Were you aware of the facts he brings to light and refers to- more importantly, the intellectual paradigms he used to formulate his opinions, as those are (linguistics specifically)part and parcel of the methods, principles and practices of all Western scholars? Why do you think all architecture schools across all of Western civilization throughout the centuries to today begin their students' studies with the Pyramids?Have you seen the pyramids of the Sudan and Nubia, some predating those of Giza, recently unearthed by German archaeological teams? And what do you think our Founding Fathers (Washington, Jefferson, et al) would have thought of such a work (and think of the back of the dollar bill before you answer)? This book, even with the sermon-like fault of its structure (which says as much about when it was written--and what it took for someone with these kinds of ideas to be published at the time--as the author) remains powerful and influential because of the degree to which it wrestles and answers these kinds of questions. STOLEN LAGACY has its faults, but its ability to make you think, whether you want to or not, isn't one of them.Definitiely worth reading; also worth owning...and continually argued about.

Quel plagiat !
