BarigoRegatta Ship´s Barometer analogue brass 120mm

Bought to replace a similar barometer, sadly a casualty of a recent house move. The Barigo arrived quickly, on time and intact, pretty impressive as it was imported from Germany. It functions reasonably well and can be calibrated with a small adjusting screw on the back. It appears well made although the case, as a one-piece press-casting, and the (plastic) glass being flat rather than domed, both lack the quality of the dear old broken FCC. Biggest gripe is that there is no hanging bracket on the back; you can only screw to a wooden board or bulkhead through the three small punched holes in the rim (with the three small brass screws provided) - no good if you want to hang it on a masonry or stud wall! Fortunately, I was able to fabricate a wire & tape hanger to fit in the recess round the back, which works fine but was a a right faff to make.
