Fat Ass. Will Travel.
Oh, wow. Now THIS is what I was looking for. At 300lbs. there were no seats that felt good. The 10.5" bicycle seats weren't long enough, and when they were, they weren't thick enough at the nose of the saddle. Memory foam, gel... whatever. Didn't so squat diddly. Then I saw two 13"-14" versions, also gel/foam, but they looked good. The only problem I had was that, after reading reviews, I found that one rubbed it's dye onto a rider's pants and the other literally cracked after a few months since it was screws set into plastic at the base of the seat. I took those as warning and then searched for 13" bike saddles/seats. Jackpot. This sucker is about 5lbs. but it's sturdy, well-built and metal. The cushion seems like it won't get soaked in a rain storm and since I live in Florida, we'll see how it can take the heat as well. It's like sitting on a chair without any of the pain the other seats caused, and the nose is "muppet sized", providing awesome padding and stability. As a bonus, at first, my arms were hurting a bit too much and I wasn't able to control the handlebar as well, however, this seat solved that issue as well. It was an issue caused by the lack of control over my balance, and now we're good to go. It's honestly one of those seats that, if it lasts as long as I hope it does, I may just keep it on there for comfort once I start dropping weight, which was the intention of purchasing my cruiser int the first place. Very nice.

Solid, sturdy, comfortable!
I am a big guy around 300lbs. We have a few ebikes and the default seat was so I comfortable. I bought several (big, soft) seats and some were scary. If you’re big then as you pedal the seats would bend down on the sides making you off balance. THIS seat has metal for seat frame material not flimsy plastic. Also normal seats use these rods for mounting but this one uses reinforced metal. Wow, this seat is meant to handle serious weight. Comfortable, safe and sturdy. There is one con, the nose of the seat could be a little narrower which is why some people experience chafing. Just sit forward a bit and that should help a lot. Otherwise hands down best seat so far for big, beautiful people!

Not just for Fat People!
My wife and I took up bike riding last summer and have gone for a 10 mile (more or less) ride almost every weekend since August. We enjoy it, and I really want us to stick with it. Pursuant to that goal we have tried 5 different styles of seats trying to find comfortable ones - all of them highly rated for comfort here on Amazon. The Worksman Extra wide is the clear winner so far - so much so that I'm done buying and swapping seats for the foreseeable future. Is it perfect? No. I agree with other commenters that the nose of the seat should be narrower (thus 4 instead of 5 stars) We haven't had any problems with unwanted sliding back and forth on this seat - if you are sliding foreward you might need to raise the front a little, and vise versa. Relatively speaking it's quite comfortable - especially given our style of riding which is pretty casual. Word on the street is that the skinny seats are better for more high-performance riding, but that simply doesn't concern us - we just want to get some enjoyable exercise with as little discomfort as possible. As mentioned this seat is also the most comfortable pick for my wife who is not significantly over weight. It is pretty big saddle, but it really doesn't look out of proportion on our bikes - a cruiser, and a hybrid/mountain bike. Nonetheless, if your vanity is more important than your comfort it might bother you. On the other hand if that is the case - is your vanity better served by a skinny bicycle seat or potentially skinnier pants? Just sayin'.

Best wide seat I have every used
Truly the best seat ever. I rode a workman bike on a bike tour in New Orleans for a few hours. Liked the bike, but LOVED the seat. I need a wider seat (to match mine own) but I also just think that a wider seat makes sense for pleasure riders like myself. Who wants to have to deal with a sore bottom each time you ride more than a few miles? We had to take it to my local bike shop to swap out my seat post but the shop had one laying around and just gave it to me. Sure there is a converter kit I could have purchased (the seat did not come with one despite different statements about this in the reviews). Seat is very wide but also supportive - looks fun on my Trek.
