The yuletide Carol, which has been sung and enjoyed during the Christmas season for centuries, has inspired our Five Golden Rings ornament. It is believed the Five Golden Rings represent the Torah (5 Books of Moses). The gifts were also to remind the singer not only of man's fall from grace due to sin, but the fact that a Savior would come to offer salvation and a path back to God.

Beautiful
I bought this for a dear friend whose line every year at our Christmas parties was "Five Golden Rings". She was always so off key as were most of us, but we laughed every year singing The Twelve Days of Christmas. She is moving away and I wanted her to have this as a memory of our yearly Christmas parties. It is beautifully made and comes in a lovely box. Worth every penny!

Gold rings are gold colored, as you'd expect!
I like the quality of the Hampshire Pewter ornaments. This is the first Hampshire ornament I've purchased in the Twelve Days of Christmas series. It's also the prettiest Five Golden Rings ornament I've seen so far in pewter ornaments, since Hampshire Pewter colored the rings gold instead of leaving them silver. Possibly a pewter "purist" may object to coloring the ornament, but to me, Five GOLD rings should be colored gold. This ornament is adorable!
