I've been using it to bring a laptop on level with an external monitor at work. I use a usb keyboard and mouse, so I do not have to worry about the height or angle of the laptop keyboard, but I suspect that would be an issue.It collapses well and compactly, and leaves the laptop vents open to circulate air.The 'stops' at the front do pop on and off, which I was not expecting at first. The main issue I've had is that while the height can be adjusted some once the stand is open, it does not go as low as I would like. I have adjusted my work set up to accommodate but ideally would not have needed to.

My laptop slid off in about 10 minutes.
