Great product....keeps the water out.
I finally used this product today. I used them while using a flowrider. They stayed in place when I was knocked down by the water, where easy to take in and out while I was waiting for my turn, and I didn't get any water in my ears. At first they were a little uncomfortable to get in. But after they got wet they were very easy to pop in and out. I was also able to hear someone speaking to me just fine.

Not a good ear plug for smaller women
These may be great for men, but they wouldn't stay in my ears. I happen to be a fairly petite woman. I lost one on my first lap. In addition, the plastic is pretty hard and uncomfortable, though this may have had something to do with the size.

Did not work for me
This set of earplugs are very stiff and caused me to have pain in my ear. I only tried them once but I would rather use the disposable silicon plugs for my needs.

hard plastic and uncomfortable for me
these are pretty firm and too big for my ears so make sure they will fit first

Great value for the money
Before buying a set of ear plugs for my son, I read through many product reviews. My son has many issues with his ears so finding a set of plugs that keep the water out is a challenge.I read a lot of reviews from people who said that these plugs are great and keep water out. At first, when my son began wearing them, they seemed to be great and do the job. Now, I noticed when he is roughing around the pool, I noticed one slipped out a couple times. It could also be my 12 year old is putting them on in a hurry, which caused the slip.Due to years of ear problems, I have bought and tested many, many ear plugs and even though there were a couple slips, I have to say these did seem to be the best, especially for the price. I also like how they come in a resealable case so they don't get dirty or lost.

Exactly as they say - best compromise between performance and price. I've tried many, and these are the best!
I use earplugs when surfing in windy conditions to avoid earache. These work great. They cut out the wind, and you can still hear reasonably well. Not as well as no earplugs, but I've tried $60 earplugs and they weren't any better in this regard. They do tend to "loosen" up after a while during a long surf session, and then I poke them back deeper into my ears. (Might just be my ears. I've had the same experience with other pro acoustic earplugs.) Anyway I haven't lost them yet after about 10 sessions. But since I will lose them eventually, might as well not spend a fortune! I've tried 3 or 4 other brands and these are the best yet, especially for the price.

These are the worst plugs I have used to date
These are the worst plugs I have used to date. Rubber is is hard and has a square shape which really hurts. Get the Speedos, much more comfy.

Bad for Surfing, But Might be good for The Pool
I purchased these earplugs for surfing and they both fell out and were lost after 30 minutes. The fit was great and I'm sure they would work good in a pool, but don't rely on them in the ocean. A bit too expensive to keep losing.
