Works with Levono ThinkPad Docks
I use a Lenovo ThinkPad, connect it to a ThinkPad Dock using USB-C, and have two monitor displays attached to the dock. I purchased a generic USB-C cord to connect the laptop & the dock, but the monitors were not recognizing the inputs (display ports). I purchased this Lenovo cord suspecting that it might resolve the issue, and it did! This one USB-C cord runs from my laptop to my dock and plays nicely with my monitors, webcam, wireless headset, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard. If you're like me and having difficulty with USB-C cords cooperating with ThinkPads & Docks, this should resolve your issue.

USB cord is all right with me.
The court works good so far havenโt had no issue now. I will say that it does make a noise like itโs going on and off but now itโs fine.

Reliability is worth every penny
If you have a Lenovo Think Pad and can't afford to have the connection from your laptop to your monitor interrupted then this is the cable to get. In an effort to save a few pennies, I tried some of the other less expensive cables but they either couldn't put the signal through or wouldn't stay connected to my U4320Q Dell monitor. The Lenovo cable is built better (studier) than its competition and the six foot length fits my needs perfectly. It's a heavy duty accessory that I've enjoyed using for the past two months and I highly recommend it if your use-case is similar to mine.

Works Like the Original Cord
This cord works perfectly. It was needed for additional length and has worked great. Connectivity, responsiveness, speed remain the same as the shorter cord that was supplied with my Lenovo laptop. I did not rate durability because I have only used for a month.

Not the correct docking cable.
Doesnโt work with Lenovo dock. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting the dock every 2 seconds. I switched to the proper USB-C cable and it fixed the problem.
