This is the first time I have tried one of these applicators. I wasn't sure if I would like it because of what some of the other reviewer's have said here but I really don't have much to compare it to... I like it! I'm no spring chicken but have never been compelled much to wear liquid foundation, so I'm kinda new to the game here! I was trying to apply with my fingertips with horrible results then I tried this and VOILA!! For the price, I think it's a good value.

I was skeptical about this sponge because I've never used a beauty blender, and it was cheaper than all the others. But I wanted to see what the beauty blender hype was all about, so I ordered it. I actually really like it. I had been using makeup sponges or my fingers to apply foundation before, which was fine, but I did tend to get kind of a cakey, dry look (particularly when I used the dry wedge sponge).I wet the sponge and then squeezed all the water out of it so it was all puffed up. Then I put dots of foundation on my face and blended them out. I felt like it gave the look of lighter, less cakier coverage, but also smoothed out the complexion. The round surfaces were great for blending out lines of foundation, and the pointed or flat surfaces were great for getting around my eye area. I had never realized what the flat part was for before (and maybe that's not what it's for after all, but it worked out for me). So far I haven't thought of any complaints -- I really like it!

This is my first blender sponge and I love it. The tear drop shape makes it easy to apply to different areas of the face. The pointed part is perfect for under the eyes. It's large too so I can apply my eye concealer with one part of the sponge and use another part of the sponge for my foundation - so the makeups don't mix on the sponge. I feel like the coverage lasts longer with the sponge application as opposed to just using my fingers.

This is by far the best sponge I have every used.I have oily/combination/sensitive skin. Applying making has definitely become easier with this baby as it blends everything perfectly (from my concealer to my contour to my foundation).

I have never owned a beauty blender, so I cannot compare it to that, just to my experience. This is a great makeup sponge! It spreads my foundation well and easily gets into the area under my eyes and around my nose. Every time I use this sponge, I get compliments on my makeup.

Absolutely love everything about this sponge. I purchased it to replace my beauty blender my cat destroyed. It Becomes the perfect size when its wet. Soft yet firm at the same time. I prefer this over my beauty blender. Will definitely be purchasing more.

I really like this beauty sponge. It blended everything from my correcter to my strobbing ( amazingly). I wasnt sure about it. Its not as pictured in the product photos. Its works great.

I love this! It glides my foundation on so smoothly and evenly. I will probably order another one soon. Not because I need to, but because I am very funny about my beauty blenders, after a few washes, I always replace them. Great buy!
