This Product Works!
This product works! My 7 yo Great Dane had a bad case of mites that i let go too long before i realized what it really was, his skin was really red, he was itchy and miserable and could not get comfortable. I did extensive research online and read several product reviews. I came across this product and read all the reviews, the good and bad. Their website is very informative and provided all the tools and information you need to treat your pet and what to expect. Be sure to visit their site and read it completely before you buy this. I then ordered it and followed the instructions exactly how instructed. After the first treatment it appeared he got worse, redder. (its normal) However by the next day, there was a HUGE improvement. My best advice to anyone attempting to treat a mite issue is buy a bag of Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade when you buy your treatment shampoo. I used the applicator that came with the DE and saturated my every inch of carpet and every place he lays or has had access to. I threw away his bed and bought a new one once he was cured. This DE Stuff KILLS mites, its suffocates them. Be sure you buy the FOOD grade. Don't treat your pet with treatment shampoo and then allow them to return to their area with out treating with DE. You will be wasting your time and money. I quarantined my dog after his bath into a clean room where i knew no mites existed, (my laundry room) until he dried. I then allowed him back into his treated areas and he laid directly on the Diatomaceous Earth that was on the carpets, i left this powder down for a few days before vacuuming it up. I even put this Diatomaceous Earth directly on my dog once he dried, Its pet safe. I squirted it on his entire under carriage, neck and back. It made him a white dog for awhile but he stopped licking, because i'm sure licking powder isn't fun. By the 2nd -3rd day, no more itching, licking and the redness was just about gone. I followed the following two treatments even though by then he appeared to be normal again i still did it as precaution to ensure no eggs or new ones would resurface. Its been over a month and still mite free. This saved a vet bill, skin scraping, and whatever expensive medicine they would have prescribed. Be sure to due your research. Read about mites and their life cycle (the key is to break their life cycle), read how and where they live and how they die, read this products website, read a lot of other reviews the good and bad, read reviews on other similar products, read about Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade. The more you read and learn the quicker and easier and more cost effective it will be to treat your pet. I hope this helps!

Worked like a charm!
My 3-4 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Bulldog mix had a mild case of demodex mites that quickly started getting worse. I was looking for a more natural, cost effective solution to the problem rather than spending hundreds at the vet on chemical dips, injections, skin craping, etc (which I read aren't even very effective). I came across this product and decided to give it a shot and it worked like a charm! My pup was noticeably less itchy after the first use and wuickly started to regrow hair. Make sure that you use a Benzoyl Peroxide shampoo for dogs prior to applying the Mite Avenge for max effectiveness. The instruction booklet that comes with the pack states to do this, but do yourself a favor and buy it at the same time so that you can do a treatment ASAP!

If your dog has mites, this WILL work for your dog!!
Just started using on our GSD.. Started with ear mites and could not get mites under control..1 step forward, 2 steps back. Then entire body started becoming itchy.. I used this on our other 15lb mix a year ago and completely resolved and rid the mites (she deteriorated very quickly, lost weight, lost hair, scratched sporadically even woke her up, chewed her feet and toes, scratch her underarms till they bled, sticky skin, and smelled like Cheetos. The first application, I could tell, stung a little...within 2-3 days she was calmer.. Did another application and she seemed cured so I stopped..big mistake..3 weeks later started itching again..then ordered more and did 3 more complete applications along with recommended shampoo and "mud" that this company makes..she gained weight and grew hair and smelled healthy)Ok, so now with our GSD I just did the first application and the very next day she was already scratching less, I even whipped the solution in her ears and they too are cleaner and less itchy...Now 4 days later she's starting to itch a bit so I will be repeating this application 2x per week for 3-4 weeks... If after the scratching returns, I will order another 6 applications.Chances are you don't know 100% if your dog has mites, but you can research mites on the Internet, and especially check out the happy dog naturals website..they will help you figure out by simple tests, like when you scratch your dog your dog starts scratching with back leg, your dog suddenly starts scratching like crazy especially ears, eyes, lower legs, feet, tail, and or arm pits/upper chest area, plus they will have a strong "dog" smell (no it's not normal for you to smell your dog from across the room), if hair is missing the skin might feel tacky or sticky and you may notice red scratch marks on underside.

Condider if youd dog has a compromised immune system.
You may wish to consider this if your dog is on any drug that compromises the immune system. Our dog is, and demodectic mange has been a problem quite a few times. Mite Avenge came into our lives about a year ago and it has proven itself to be very helpful and I may say, amazing. The first round of mange was treated by the vet and that was a long haul... the dog was not happy and it took forever (4 to 5 months) for him to heal. About a year ago I tried Mite avenge (the second go-round) and it worked almost immediately as far as itching goes. Hair grew back within a month, all was good. Took the dog off his drugs for a few months. That was a big mistake (severe allergy to just about everything). Put him back on the drugs and stopped the mite avenge. His problems with the allergies got better but he started exhibiting the creepy crawly... don't touch me I have mange thing again. Still on the drugs and started the Mite Avenge again once a week about 6 weeks ago. Dog is doing much better and feels good about being touched again. Caught this before any significant hair loss. He is doing great! I hate that he is on drugs that will shorten his life but we have tried everything. That there is a product that can control one of the side effectcs is pretty awesome to us.
