Ended up having to purchase a new phone because the part made my current phone unusable.

This product came with everything you need. The tool kit quality was good enough to get through the fix, which is not too difficult as long as you follow the procedure and keep track of all your screws and parts mainly for front camera & ear piece and home button. I used a piece of blank paper to label everything for each part. Before you tighten last screw to finish the replacement, I would recommend testing these 4 functions:the screen itself, the home button, the ear piece and the front facing camera to make sure these little parts are in place well. And of course, the screen itself, though not as good as the original apple screen for brightness and contrast, is quite a fine product.Overall very excellent product, I would recommend to anyone with a broken Screen.

This screen fits perfectly and I had no issues installing it but I did notice a couple negatives.1) having to take off the clear plastic guides for the front facing camera and the two sensors next to the camera remove a lot of their adhesive. I would add these into the replacement screen if it were up to me because when I put them on the new screen they couldn’t adhere and would slide around during reassembly.2) I would also add in the water proofing adhesive strip for the screen/frame mating into this kit instead of having to buy it separately.Also, the screen’s color is off. It’s colors are no where near as vibrant as the original. Like the RGB mix is not right. I have to manually adjust the night shift feature for it to look somewhat similar to the original screen.Build quality is great, but the color is noticeably off.

After watching a YouTube video made by someone else (this company should make their own for its specific parts) I was able to install this lcd screen. Once I had it installed I noticed that the touch wasn’t very sensitive but I just thought it was because it was a replacement and I had to put up with it not being just like new. Unfortunately for me, it’s been over 2 months and it is just getting worse. I’m gonna need to get it professionally done anyway. What a waste of time and energy!

This case is very similar in quality & fit to those sold by Google for the 2013 Nexus 5. The fit is very snug, and the holes for microphones, headphones, & the USB-C slot are perfectly placed. I didn't like the Spigen case I bought (for 2 dollars more than this) because it exposed the phone buttons and didn't give me confidence that I wouldn't drop it. This case covers the buttons with no loss in sensitivity and has a more meaty presence. I like this a lot better.Also, it looks better. The 'Smoke' color is translucent, giving the phone's back graphic visibility through the case.

This kit includes all the tools and the screen, however, is not a full replacement display and glass. You will need to remove the speaker, microphone, front camera, and home button from the old screen and attach it to the new one. This can be a little tricky, but totally possible! I also did not lose my Touch ID feature which is great!The screen is not as bright as the original Apple screen, which is totally fine, but worth mentioning. The instructions are pretty good, however, you can look up YouTube videos if you want to know what every action is exactly. During replacement you MUST pay special attention to the order the wires lay down, or how specific components fit back in place. (Thus only 4 stars)Take your time with it, be patient and gentle. This is worth the money.

Great replacement screen and included tools are high quality. Installation instructions are not all that great. Better guides can be found online. Would reccomend you have a hair dryer and ultra thin double sided tape.If you aren't experienced replacing apple screens this might be too difficult.

I didn't set my expectations very high for this case - I was really just looking for a functional phone case that didn't cost too much. However, I am pleasantly surprised with the build quality and looks of the case.The case online looked opaque to me, but it is semi-transparent with a matte finish -- it looks nice.Additionally, I think the case will do will to protect the phone against falls. It's not a heavy-duty cover (slim; another plus), but the Nexus 5X is lightweight, so I don't think it needs a ton of protection.All in all - a great case for cheap!
