This is a very quick and easy read to help you handle big emotions. I was only a few pages in when I did an exercise and had immediate results. A must-have tool kit!

short, sweet and actionable
I feel better after reading this book and trying the exercise one time.It’s essential for neuroplasticity to be taught simply. Otherwise the ability to change our comforting responses only beings to include more confusion and effort than needed. Which in turn is very disempowering for clients and practitioners. As a chronic pain coach I see that happen too often by accident or practitioner ego. This book is simple and requires a little belief and extra repetition. Thank you Melissa.

small but power packed book
I ordered this book based on Melissa's reputation, loving her book "Integrative Hypnosis: A Comprehensive Course in Change" and having been at one of her lectures.At first I was disappointed when it was delivered because the book was so small especially compared to the book I have. It was a bit of a shock seeing the tiny package and then the small size of the book.However looks can be deceiving. Now, having read the book I am a big fan. The format of the book actually helped me read and understand the techniques in the book during a frazzled holiday week. Imagine how helpful this will be to an anxious client.The anti-anxiety toolkit is full of ideas to try with anxious clients and/or practitioners. It has numerous techniques and ideas to recommend to clients and puts them at your fingertips. It is also an excellent compact resource for clients to have on hand.I highly recommend this book to add to your toolkit! My only regret is not getting it at the new lower price of $12.60 (I paid $17.50). Who knew the price would drop so soon. Although Melissa, you are absolutely worth it!MGreaves CHT

This is a life changing book & could definitely benefit the change in brain pathways for anti-anxiety & addiction recovery of any kind physical mental emotional …..this is a great book for ANYONE & EVERYONE REALLY

Great help
Work with Dr. that highly recommended this! It's a great book. You must read it and get someone to do the exercises with you. It really does help!

A good set of tools. a bit too commercialized
The tools themselves seem to be useful. I have begun to use some of them and they are helpful but require practice and need to become second nature in order for them to be more effective.I also appreciate the author referencing other sources as it provides more context as to the origin of the techniques and where to get more information.But, the book loses some credibility when it dedicates over 5 full pages at the end of the book to testimonials. The reader should be able to make their own judgements on the effectiveness. In addition, if the author feels the need to dedicate almost 5% of the book to positive testimonials it calls into question the book’s ability to stand on its own.

Great (short) actionable book
Some books need to be long and dense to get the information across. I am happy that there’s a book for people who want to alleviate or eliminate anxiety completely that’s easy and quick to read.Some people might be disappointed to find this book is short enough to read in an hour or less. But most people who want easy-to-follow methods of reducing stress and anxiety (or other kinds of problems), will be extremely pleased.I’m one of those people, which is why I gave it 5 stars. And why I went on to buy two of Melissa Tiers’ other books.

OMG; A mind-body experts DREAM
Wow, wow, wow!!!As a physician and mind-body healing expert, I am always looking for ways to help patients deal with their anxiety. The bottom line is that when people are feeling anxious, this filters their perception of everything that happens to them in their life, and makes it all seem bad and overwhelming. Unlike conventional talk therapies, which deal with content (i.e. this event happened to me and is why I feel bad), the techniques in Melissa's book deal with process and structure. This means that instead of spending endless time trying to figure out WHY you are anxious, you can change HOW your brain and nervous system create anxiety. This book contains extremely powerful yet simple tools to do just this, and they are explained in an easy to read, easy to understand way. This has my absolute highest recommendation, and should be on the top shelf for all healthcare professionals, therapists, parents, life coaches, clergy, and pretty much every one else who owns a book shelf

Excellent and concise book about anxiety and it works
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and I work mainly with anxiety clients. Let me tell you that this book is a godsend. So god, clear, concise and helpful for therapists and clients. The techniques describes are neuroscience based and super effective. You understand better how the mind works and you start looking at all these hacks to give it good directions. What we do physically impacts anxiety and gives messages to the mind.One technique I love from this book is bilateral stimulation. It lowers anxiety by the way of distracting your mind and it's fast.I love Melissa Tier and her work. I first saw her in a training video in Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy (I am a graduate from there) and I follow her on Youtube.If you want to add a new top to your skills as a therapist or as an anxious person, this is a great book to read and learn from!

Lots of great stuff in this little book! Someone recommended it to me to help with an anxiety client and I’m looking forward to putting these techniques to work.

Concise and useful.
This is a very short, very useful little book of many techniques that you can teach your clients to support them in reprogramming their subconscious mind. Loved it. Read it in about an hour.
