This lights are great. We mainly use the white mode to give us plenty of light for games or hanging out. To set a relaxing mood the orange color is great to match the outdoor torches and fire pit. My kids like the other color modes that transition from several different other colors to create a party atmosphere. We've had the lights a month now and they really add a lot of character and versatility to our outdoor living space.

I absolutely love these lights. They are beautiful on every color setting. You cannot choose multiple colors to show at the same time; however, there are numerous settings that allow the bulbs to change to other colors through fading as well as as short pauses between colors. The bulbs are plastic which is a nice feature while installing and they appear to be very well constructed. Ours are mounted underneath a patio awning so I can't really answer as to how they hold up in the open outdoors. We just recently received and installed ours so I can't speak for longevity either. They are LED which usually have a long life and one spare bulb is sent with the set. At this point we are extremely happy with the purchase which helped dress up our backyard pool area for entertaining and just for us to enjoy (which is more of what we will do). Every color is so pretty and they will be great at Christmas, too. Wonderful multi-purpose lights! I tried to load multiple pictures but every time I tried the second photo, my review disappeared and I was rerouted to the product purchase page so I chose one with color (blue) to give an idea of the colored feature. The white are nice also as they give a nice soft light that isn't blinding but bright enough to see easily in the darkness.

When set to the white light the bulbs are very dim compared with a similar 48 ft Costco light strand that I was replacing (after it got cut during overzealous home improvement work!). When the lights are turned to one of the colors, their illumination drops even more, making it very dim. The bulbs were so dim, in general, that the ability to dim them is not a valuable feature. You're going to want them at 100% all the time.For some reason, the lights keep turning themselves on. I have to completely unplug the strand to keep them from turning back on after I turn them off. I live in the city and so maybe someone’s TV remote is tuned to the same frequency or something. Best guess. There are no troubleshooting instructions for this problem.The programmed color patterns were mostly disappointing. The color groupings that flash are not what I would choose, so there were really only 2 or 3 buttons on the remote that I would ever use with any regularity (one being on/off!).After maybe 10 uses, and about 10 hours of cumulative run time, the strand stopped working entirely. I tried turning it on and off using the remote, using the in-line power adapter with the button on it, and by unplugging and replugging. I checked the circuit, which was fine. It's dead. It's a sad waste of money and planetary resources because of poor engineering.

This product has been so disappointing. I bought 5 months ago, and each month they have gotten worse. It started with just a random change of lights, shortly after purchase. I was convinced my kids were doing it. But then it happened more and more. Now, every time I turn them on—regardless of the color or setting—after a few minutes they start changing colors and speeds on their own. It’s unpredictable and random, and so very disappointing. We can’t even use them anymore. We were so excited about product—and they were not cheap!—but they are very disappointing. Do not buy. They are faulty. Save your money. And I hope the manufacture reads this review and makes this right. I feel like I was cheated out of $70!! This product should be removed from amazon and our money should be refunded. These lights are a scam.

we love the colors, and the ability to dim, and change colors, options etc with az remote the length is great too. Honestly the only problem we have with them is when you connect 3 sets as we did sometimes the remote does not change all 3 like you want them; we can't seem to get the red to work on one set but the other two work beautifully so when you're connecting multiple sets you may have a problem. Also the remote is a little bit difficult to figure out.

Are really amazing. Bright enough to help show off a scenery outside when haveing party. I did not expect the bulbs to be madr from plastic but they are so the worries of breaking them aint there. Instructions on how to change lighting code is super easy.

I was looking for more subdued lighting for our library room and had decided these string lights might be an economical and simple solution. I had three basic 'wants' on the list: they needed to look nice, dimmable (the extra light colors were a pleasant bonus) and LED (low power consumption/low heat output). There were less expensive options but these looked to have sturdier mounting tabs and a solid cable to run/mount.Likes: solid mounting, plenty of light options (color rotation, intensity, etc...), bulbs stay cool to the touch, can string another unit or two in-lineDislikes: my only real complaint is the remote feels a bit cheap and sometimes I really have to give it a few tries to get it pressed where it will register.Overall they work perfectly for what we wanted and I wouldn't hesitate to get a second set to connect in series if I needed more light in the room.
