Audio-Technica AT-VM95C/H Turntable Headshell/Cartridge Combo Kit Blue

Wow! I can't express how happy I am with this set up. I can't believe it sounds as good as it does for the price range. I had purchased an older Technics SL-1900 with what was probably the original headshell and stylus. After dinking around trying to replace the stylus alone, and failing, I decided to buy a new headshell/stylus combo. I am very happy with the results. i tried out the song Djano played by W. Marsalis, and it's my go-to song for my stereo set up. The high notes were brilliant, the midrange clear, and the basses came through un-muddied. I'm so impressed with the quality and clarity of this stylus (it's conical by the way). The packaging was very secure, and it arrived very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

Great refresh for my vintage Stanton table. Conical stylus is the ticket for an underhung tone arm. The fidelity was great. Fantastic frequency response, good channel separation and a warm tone characterize the 95C. The cartridge will be easy for upgrades and replacements,

This stylus is very forgiving when playing less than perfect albums. It provides a rich, warm sound with more than enough detail. If you have some vinyl that has been around for a while, this stylus can life to it. Highly recommend.

This is a great value for someone who needs an all-in-one solution to mount to a tonearm and start listening to music with no fuss. I bought this for old, beat up records because I read online that the conical would be better for those records than my microlinear stylus (which is much more expensive). After some A/B testing, the conical doesn't seem to be any better. The ML stylus sounded better on every single record I tested, tracked over scratches better, and actually presented less surface noise. I'm not sure what "smoothing" a conical is supposed to do, but I didn't hear it. I even realigned everything and checked the tracking force for the new setup. I didn't even bother with trying to make it through break-in because I doubt it will make a huge difference anyway. If you have a ML stylus and are looking for something to smooth over beat down records, you might be better off just saving your money or investing in better record cleaning tools/products. Otherwise, this is a great value, it sounds great and the headshell is nice quality.

Si te llegas a quedar sin cartucho y cápsula y decides reemplazarlo al mejor costo sin sacrificar calidad, este combo es la mejor opción. La aguja (cápsula), azul (cónica), es el modelo más básico de toda la gama ATVM95 pero ofrece una calidad excelente. Su forma tán fácil de reemplazar lo vuelve idóneo para seguir escalando entre la gran gama de cápsulas que ofrece audio-technica. ¡Recomendadísimo!

Forse è un po presto x valutarla , montata su un piatto AT Lp 120 usb ( montava in origine quella verde AT-VMN95E ) ho poi acquistato una Shibata AT-VMN95SH . Mi serviva un corpo intero x poter cambiare e sentire vecchi disci rock senza rovinare quella piu costosa e visto che la verde già l'avevo ho voluto provare questa AT-VM95C/H . Devo dire xò che mi è piaciuta . Chiaramente è ancora da rodare ho ascoltato una facciata di un disco ( Il primo dei Dire Straits ) la prima e la seconda canzone sono rimasto nel dubbio , la terza ho tolto le rughe dal viso , la quarta mi è venuto un sorriso . Suona e suona bene corposa e forte considerando il prezzo è un ottima puntina . La consiglio .

クラスが上の無垢楕円針(EN)を使った後に…この接合丸針を購入しました。（動機がちょっと変かも） 聴き比べて思うのは…60年代のロックや歌謡曲を聴くのにはオーディオテクニカのVM針シリーズの中では好きかもと思います（個人的に）。 80〜90年代のVM針はどうも苦手で、なんともハンパな音（MM針とMC針の間の…）当時はMC針以外を購入するとしたら、やはりシュアかオルトフォンでした。 しかしこのモデルはボディの設計から針、併せるシェルまでトータル性が有るので細かい作業が苦手な人や嫌いめんどくさい…とにかく音が出たらいい等など… という人には良いモデルでしょう。 うーん音がイマイチというならEやEN, MLを交換針として購入すれば解決です。 アナログブームの最中とても良心的な設計ですよ。 エントリーモデルとしての音質は…同じくAT-3600Lの方がはっきりして明るく良い。しかしグレードアップをするならこのモデルをチョイスかな？と思いますね。 ↓ -----------*…再々投稿…*-------------- 音やエントリーモデルとしての位置づけは変わりません。音楽を聴いて楽しむ。しかもリーズナブル。 ここには前迄のレビューと変わりません。 たまたまオーディオテクニカの技師さんに質問する機会があったので、その中でモヤモヤしていた事… AT-VM95シリーズで無垢針は日本純国産のカートリッジの、VM95EN,VM95ML,VM95SHだけです。問題はスタイラス針先が接合針なのはVM95C,VM95E(グリーン/ブラック)ですね…。 音は無垢針とは音は違って当たり前。 この使い易いエントリークラスのVM95Eは接合楕円針、VM95Cが接合丸針です。(上のクラスで無垢丸針があればよかったのですが…) やはり丸針の良さを引き出したいものです。 時代遅れかもしれないですが無垢の丸針モデルが出なかったな…と思いましたね。 このカテゴリーはデノンのMC針、DL-103があるので商業的にはナンセンスなのかもです。 ENが無垢の楕円針でそこそこの芯を出すので、オーディオテクニカの丸針は接合丸針のCで我慢かな…。 このCモデルは実際にいろいろと工夫してみる価値はあり、いじって工夫して(接合ですが)丸針の音を変えて楽しんでいます。接合丸針で腰砕けな“音割れ”を起こすのですが…如何に“芯を捉えたフォーカス”にチューニングするのが目標です。 わりと60〜70年代のロックのレコードはラウドな方が楽しいから…。どうせやるならば、もうそうなる。かなり時間はかかると思う。いい音を引き出すのと同じ作業です。それほど高音質ではないがフォーカス感有り。結局作業的には同じ手間暇です。 今はシェルをPioneerDjのシェルとそのデフォルトのリードワイヤーに変更し素材の品質グレードアップはしていません。ミソの変更点は元々のソフトタイプのポリワッシャーをハードタイプに変更、そして締めるアルミネジをいろいろ試聴しながら変えて納得のいくもの見つけたらそれをしっかりとキツくカシメて…音楽を聴く時は2.0gより心待ち針圧を下げる…これだけでもオリジナルから少し空気感が広くなりました。まだまだかな？ ↓ 更にリードワイヤーをオヤイデのHSR-102に変更。リードワイヤーが折れるとか書かれてますが、DL-103によく使われるというのでちょっとグレードアップ。やはり丸針には合う様で丸針の良さが出るようになりました。 クラシックも聴けるレベルになったのは嬉しい限り。しかしエントリークラスの音の傾向は変わらないですね。とにかくバランスが良くなりました。安いお得なカートリッジですが、楕円針を使うか丸針を使うかという選択肢を積極的に考えるとこのオヤイデのリードワイヤーがベストです。 もちろんDL-103は底なしのスペックを持ったMC針なので…この針は別格です。昇圧トランスをAU-S1を使ってならオルトフォンの7Nで怒涛の音を出します。このVM95Cはそういう事はないのでオヤイデの102リードワイヤーでチューニングは完結と思います。シェルもPioneerDjので良し。針圧の微調整に敏感なのでなるべく針圧を下げたい時には使い易い。レコードの溝の真芯をバシッと捉えるにはまだまだ丸針は有効です。昔、「マイクロリッジ針」をオーディオテクニカが出したがすぐに消えました。簡単にいえば…丸針と楕円針の合の子の様な針でした。オーディオテクニカは丸針の意味は判っていると確信していたので、手を加えています。 ライバルのデノンがDL-103シリーズを続けていますし、丸針を辞めたオーテクって…となるのはどうか…となるでしょうし。 お金を使わずにチューニングするのが今は面白いです。やはりアナログ針はハマると沼ですがコレ、サイフに優しいですね…。 オーディオファンではなく音楽ファンにしてみれば、かなり変な世界(沼)なのかも知れませんねー。
