2 Pack Home Thermostat - T4000ES Learning Thermostat E - White

I specifically bought this because it was sold as a set.I only received one so it is going back.You can see from the package it isn't a dual Thermostat it is a box built for one.

This thermostat will make your pipes freeze. It has a mind of its own and changes your temperature without you knowing it and there's nothing you can do about it. I did the mistake of installing it into my second home. I carefully followed all instructions, cleared the calendar. Told it to not be "smart" and record my habits but instead follow my instructions. But still. Although i set the temperature to 60 to prevent freezing when I left the house, and told the thermostat not to follow my location to determine whether I was home or not, when I got back to the house a few days later it had changed itself to 45. The pipes all froze. Can I sue nest for this?

Do not be fooled by the title description. I only recieved 1 unit.

I only received one thermostat. The description clearly says 2 pack but it’s false. Wasted my time.

I like the white, it blends into the wall and is much more subtle than the first gen. I wish they'd link up to wifi like a chromecast, instead you have to enter a password manually.

Unfortunately, the Nest E isn't compatible with two power wires. You'll need to purchase a Nest Learning Thermostat which has two terminals for both Rh and Rc wires.

It is attractive and intelligent. I was concerned that the lighted display would be distracting but it is frosted and easy to read day or night. It arrived uncharged so I put it on a USB phone charger for a couple of hours and it worked for the season. I am using it for heat only (Minneapolis). So next fall it may or may not need another charge. It only charges when the boiler is running which is not a problem. The features are cool. I was able to change my heat settings from Indonesia with my phone. I like the heat history feature best. The house has never been this consistent on comfortable heat.

Took a little while to figure out the operation from the wall (for me, not my husband) but then it clicked for me too. Having the App on my iPhone makes it very easy to control the temperature from my chair lol. We recommend this Product. “It” learned very quickly what our bedtime hours are so the heat is lowered automatically to what we want prior to bedtime and it’s on when we get up in the morning!
