I am a sketch artist, but I purchased these for my 10 year old daughter who also loves to sketch. She's just recently gotten into shading her artwork and asked if I could buy her some blending stumps and tortillions.A quick Amazon search led me to this product which has worked out perfectly for her. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of this because she snatched it up as soon as it arrived and began using the items.The small tapered tortillions are great for shading in precise areas while the fatter stumps are great for larger areas. There are extenders which I've never used, but look like they could prove useful if you are using a tortillion that is too short to hold comfortably. This also contains sandpaper sharpeners which work great to clean off the tortillions and keep them fresh for your next shading session. Plus there's a gum eraser that every artist needs. This all came in a cute little pouch that my daughter keeps in her backpack for her random drawings during the day.I have my own set of tortillions and have attached a drawing that I'm working on to show the kind of blending and shading that can be done using these tools.

Good value for the price but has some issues. Probably best for a beginning artist.The stumps and blenders seem to work fine and they provide a range of effects. Fun to try different ones to see what you get.The sharpeners have twelve layers each of the sandpaper which means they will last a long time.The case is handy and cute.The “pencil extension” does not fit anything in the kit securely enough to be used.

I really liked the different size blenders and it helped with my blending in the picture I had been working on! I like that the sandpaper came with a handle but with that being said the pencil extender didn’t fit any of my blenders or any pencil I have so that is a waste! And that was a big reason I order this particular set!! Oh well lesson learned!

I was surprised to see it came in a cute little pencil pouch. Overall good price for what you get. Only disappointment was how hard the kneaded eraser is and the fact that the stump I got was blue instead of pink. But I assume they're shipped with random colors.

This is a great set with everything you need for blending graphite and other soft mediums, I appreciate the eraser didn't really need it but always nice to have an extra and it works great and the case is a good size with a solid zipper, for the price I did not expect much from the case, but I am actually using it to hold everything. Well worth the money, no complaints.

The pouch contains all of the blending and finishing needs of an artist working in graphite, charcoal, even pastels. The stumps or tortillions, the chalk, pencil or charcoal holder is fantastic for using your supplies till their very end. The pouch makes it a grab and go without having to hunt and back another bag. Keep it with your pencils. etc and off you go to draw anywhere you wish to go.

Great price for assortment of tools. Comes with a carrying case. The only thing I don’t like is that the items are so squished in the packaging that one assortment (floral stumps) came a little damaged. I specifically ordered these for the floral ones as a nice addition to my drawing tools collection

Love this set! Would definatly purchase again. I mainly use it to blend pastels. It works perfectly. I have not used the kneadable eraser yet as i have several sitting on my desk now. Only thing i could think of to add would be an exacto knife for sharpening/ reshaping but the sand paper does a good job of that.
