I love this bulb. What's best for me is that it does not require a hub and will work directly through the app you can download through either app store and you can control the bulbs individually or as a group oh, you can set timers, you can change the color of the bulbs and dim them from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. It's so cool and it works absolutely fantastic!I often use the one in my room as an extra alarm clock in the morning to make sure I don't snooze too many times so I know when the light comes on it's time for me to get the heck up. I just bought a third one as I'm going to use it for the porch light and set a timer this way I can easily adjusted as the sun set and sunrise changes and if I come home and I need to turn it on when it's off I can do that I make it brighter if I need to see what I'm carrying in packages or any other reason.Very useful with lots of cool features n

I got this set up and working with Alexa in about 15 minutes. The initial set up is a little bit of a pain (all the on/off, is it flashing yet...) But once the flashing started it was smooth sailing. The longest part was turning it off and on over and over again but getting it working from the Tuya app was instant as soon as it flashed and then once Alexa found it after enabling the Tuya Smart skill there was no problem getting Alexa to control it. The little bit of the headache in the set up is worth the monetary savings. Most smart bulbs that don't require a hub are $20 and this was only $10. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and will buy more of these bulbs to use around my house!

I bought this to control my 3 yr old daughter getting out of bed, turning on her lights, and staying up all night. To that end, it does a fair job, with issues.I like the varying color temps and brightness, and have been making use of those already. What doesn't work is that you can cut power and turn it back on and the bulb comes right back on. She has figured this out already lol ...so, it sort of works and I can turn them back off without walking back upstairs but I may have to look into a better solution she won't have control over if I don't want her to.The Tuya app is great and more functional than other smart device apps I deal with altho most days, I just control the bulb via Google Home and sometimes Alexa. Overall, it does what it does very well, it just didn't completely solve my problem.

I almost didn't buy because a couple of people said it was difficult to install, however, it took my hubby maybe 5 minutes and that included a registration.The bulb is fantastic. You name it (I named the bulb lamp), then Alexa takes over from there. "Alexa, turn on the lamp", "OK" - bam, the lamp is on. "Alexa, dim the lamp to 50%", "OK", bam, the lamp dims. It's fantastic.

Lightbulb worked great for about two months. Then, it started making sizzling and popping sounds, and flashed on and off. I removed and reinstalled it but it does not work properly and is a potential fire hazard so I removed it permanently. I do not recommend buying.

Love how I can be far away from the lightbulb and turn off or on the lightbulb. Was easy to install just like any regular lightbulb. The app is easy to manage and setting up the connection took less than 1 minute. I shared the availability to control the lightbulb with my family in less than 5minutes. They simply downloaded the app (TuyaSmart), created an account and accepted my invitation.The app allows you to further connect your phone to other lightbulbs across the house. You can even select the rooms you installed the smart lightbulbs or view them all as you provided your personal name for each. This will come handy once I get the other smart lightbulbs. I started with one to check it out and after a week in the house, we love this!

I paid $20+ for six TP-Link bulbs and these much less expensive bulbs are SUPERIOR in every way. Better light, better design, better quality build, smaller and MUCH less weight, better range, more reliable. I got these on sale, but I'd still pay their normal price because they are excellent! They're small and light, unlike the TP-Link that are heavy, very tall, and difficult to work with. Thanks Lotton!

Worked great, but once I switched to 5G WiFi it no longer would connect. It only works on 2.4g. Other than that it worked great indoor and outdoor. I used these to schedule when lights came on in the evening and off in the morning. I could update the settings and turn on/off from my phone as long as I was connected to the same WiFi.
