I have a 13" Dell XPS laptop with 4K display that only accept USB C connector; I ordered this adapter after reading different product reviews. It serves the purpose by allowing me to connect 3 USB A types of devices and a HDMI cable as well as SD card and a micro SD card.I found the USB slots are a bit stiff and requires some force to push cable connectors in. The SD card slots are good and I like them.I have problem with HDMI cable slot; it works fine with a HD computer monitor without changing anything. However, when I connect a HDMI cable through the adapter to my HDTV (no 4K function); the left and right hand side of the Excel spreadsheet program was cut...I tried to adjust the laptop resolution but it didn't correct the issue. I am not sure if it is the display issue, cable issue or the adapter issue; I guess I need to do some research on this.Overall, the adapter offers good value for the money, no complaint. The bag comes with it added convenience and protection and I appreciate it.

We read about a bunch of these before buying this one. This one works great and is useful because we don’t need multiple adapters. I’d recommend going with this one!

I just got a Dell XPS 15 for work. When I ordered, I didn’t know it only has USB-C to connect all other equipments. I have to get a USB-C hub adapter. I am not the expert for computers. I just try to get my computer works for me. I started to compare different brands. The price range is so huge, but the reviews are similar with good and bad. I found this one with the reasonable price and has all I need, so I decided to get this one.After I received it, the quality is better than I expected. It is light and coming with a bag. I traveled a lot, so is a big plus. When I read all the reviews, I worried the most is the problem of overheating. There are many reviews with that problem. I am so impressed this one does not have that problem. I use it all day. It always stays slightly warm.I am happy so far to get this product with the reasonable price comparing to other pricier ones.

I bought this hub to extend my new space grey macbook Pro.This USB C Hub came with a pouch. The pouch is nicely made .The SD card reader are able to read the most up to date SD card format and the HDMI port work nicely and are able to adjust the resolution accordingly The USB A and USB C ports just work as expected. This product is good for those who need a dongle on the go. I felt so excited after receiving this product, the package and the design of this USB hub is so minimal and is not very big which is very handy to carry with me to my lesson. It was great for the price that I’m paying for. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

Worked fine with external USB drives for Time Machine on 2018 MacBook Pro. Although I did not test the speed it seems as fast or faster than my 2012 MacBook Pro with the same drive. (Not very scientific, I know.)But I cannot get it to recognize any USB-A thumb drives. The thumb drive light turns on, but Mac doesn't see anything. Looking around, I don't see that the new MacBook Pro should have a general issue with thumb drives. Tried different ones, and they worked on my old MacBook and still work on my PC hub.Also note that the little felt carrying case is a good idea. The case of this hub is metal, undoubtedly to deal with USB power heat dissipation. It's potentially scratchy.

I bought this hub to expand the usb connectivity for my Acer Inspire 5 laptop. The laptop just came with one usb 3 port. After getting this usb c hub, it expands to 3 more usb 3 ports. The hub built quality is very solid. It is not the plastic one. It made by metal. It looks and feels very premium. It comes with a carry on bags too. Amazing that the usb port allows daisy chain connection. I can connect another usb 3 hub easily. Another big plus that the LAN port supports Gigabyte network.I hope the SD card slot will be deeper. I almost breaks my SD card after insert into the slot. The SD card did stick out quite a bit after insert. Overall, i like this hub and able to expand the usb connectivity for my laptop

I was excited to see this product on Amazon. It appeared to be exactly what I needed to have two monitors connected to my laptop. When I plugged it in and connect one monitor to the HDMI connection on the hub, nothing appeared on the monitor. I tried restarting the monitor and laptop, swapping cables, swapping monitors, then re-configuring both, then calling Amazon support. Amazon support was very helpful but didn't resolve the issue so the hub is on its way back to Amazon. The USB ports worked fine but nothing on the HDMI port. I'm back to Amazon to find a different solution.

Overall I like this dongle a lot. It tends to overheat, though, and when I plug in multiple devices its performance suffers, as the computer screen notes an error and tells you to unplug the thing that using all the power.A device that boasts letting you plug in multiple units into one should not have overheating issues, or issues with letting multiple things plug-in, which is the sole purpose of this device.
