Homemade hashbrowns with the new potato ricer
This is a great and easy way to mash potatoes. I wish I had this tool a long time ago. This is a heavy duty stainless steel product and it could rice a raw potato.Out of all the mashers that I have used, this is the best one.I love it and use it for hash browns. But after multiple uses, there are small scratches around the corners.

Fits my needs
By todays product standards, this is good. The one my mother used back in the 50's and 60's was much better. But everything was made better back then. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. This looks like it will hold up for a while.

Excellent quality
Works well. Solid. A good addition to my kitchen. I had a ricer with multiple plates -- not a good thing. They distorted and were useless after a while. I like the solid design that has the same hole size as the one I always used with the distorted unit.

Awesome find!
SUCH an easy way to make mashed potatoes. The skin of Yukon potatoes just stays inside the ricer. Had zero lumps. Loved it!
