Can you tell me who makes all nylon tks.** A: Not that I know of, if the basses weren't wound they would have to be pretty thick in order to be tuned to pitch. I think if it were viable to make the strings all nylon instead of using silver plated wire then they wouldn't be making wound strings. But since you don't see any non wound strings then my guess is it's not possible (viable). **Q: Hello! what strings would you recommend with the yamaha ntx series? i'm looking for sustain and warmth mostly. thank you!** A: I like d’addarios exp. **Q: Do they have a ball end?** A: No they do not have ball ends. At this time D'addario does not offer them with ball ends. **Q: Does the D string last longer with this set?** A: Sure, just use the D string less :) Yes I do amuse myself. Real answer is it’s basically subjective what with different guitars and playing styles. Also depends what you mean by last longer: is your D breaking or just sounding flat sooner. If you’re experiencing a certain string is noticeably short lived then it’s likely your particular guitar.
