One Question a Day: My Life So Far: A Daily Journal for Recording Your Life Story

Not suitable for everyone - assumes everyone graduated from college!
I was excited to give these (1 each) to my parents, who just turned 80. I thought it would be great for them to write about their lives (and helpful to my mother, who does not consider herself a "writer"). My excitement turned to embarrassment when I discovered a whole section on college, which is not an experience my parents had. I feel they have lots of valuable and interesting life experiences, and should not have to leave a section of the journal blank because there is one particular experience not available to them. Surely the other could have written these questions differently, so as to allow those who went to college and graduated to write about it, while also opening up the question to other thoughts.

Overall it's a good product.
It's pretty nice. I wasn't sure what to expect with the binding, but it's sturdy. I love the colors. The questions seem decent, and there's a fair amount of room to write. My only concern is that the pages seem thin, and I'm not sure how well they're going to hold up to ink.

Not much room to write
The book is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, and the questions take up about half of each page. My intention was to use this as a regular daily journal (I planned to cross off the questions most days) and only use the prompt when I didn't have much to write. I'll probably keep the journal and just try it anyway ... but I'm not sure it'll be good for me since the writing area on each page is so small. You can basically write one small paragraph, and that's it! Just a few sentances really. Like ... this review would not fit on a single page. Maybe I'm just wordier than most other people. Idk...

Geared toward adults!
This was highly recommended for teens and young adults, so I purchased three for graduation gifts. I was disappointed to discover that the questions are primarily geared toward adults. It’s a decent journal but won’t work for my intended purpose.

Great Book
I purchased this book to begin an account for my daughters of my life growing up. I love the premise of one question a day. Not too much pressure and just enough room to fill in the question's answer.

Motivating and Inspiring
Purchased these as gifts for family and completing as a group project then meeting in summer to review. We rotate picking a page to complete. Everyone is enjoying participating and looking forwards to sharing. Recommended

Unique Christmas gift for an older teen/young adult.
This was a Christmas present for my 18 year old daughter. I always get my kids a book to read as one of their Christmas gifts, but this year I decided to get my oldest something different. She can write in this each day and will hopefully have something to look back and reflect on years later.

Thought provoking
My mom had a stroke 3 years ago. This gives her something to do and think about each day.

Great!
What a great idea. Answering these questions, to one day leave to my kids. I only wish there was a bit more writing space, but as a writer, I can be a little wordy 😆 Its probably enough for most people. Im happy with this.

Balanced Approach
More or less what we were hoping for from this sort of thing. No regrets.
