High Style Men Women Turkish Cotton Length Shawl Collar Robe Bathrobe

I got this based on the positive reviews and the length. The burgundy color is beautiful. I was surprised at how heavy the weight of the robe is. The slippers included are large men's size--which was disappointing. I ordered a medium and I wear a women's 10/12. It was super disappointing to wash this robe according to instructions and find that it shrunk significantly!! It shrunk at least 2" in the arm length and 4" in the overall length!! I bought it because it was a long robe. The item description says the medium robe length is 53". One wash and mine is 49". One wash and it was no longer a full length robe on my 5'4" frame! Back it goes. I am thankful for amazon's great customer service.

I purchased a robe like this that was a $39 terry in burgandy. It was was knee length for taller people (I am 5'2" 110lbs) and after washing and being put in the dryer it goes to mid calf on me. I was surprized that the color stayed much better than I thought but I would not recommend washing it even with jeans as the dye will blled itnto the jeans.This $59 robe it a bit finer (Apx 50% smaller loop) and is apx 20% heavier compared to the $39 terry robe that was like a upper mid range terry towel. I gave it 4 stars due to my expectations but considering the cost of 100% cotton ANYTHING this was a good buy. It will not be the quality of a Ritz Carlton Hotel bath robe but I am just an average person and do not have the checking account that will allow for that level of lifestyle. BUMMER!!!I do like this robe and it was the ONLY robe in this fabric that was full length. In case your wondering, the length was apx 4" or 5" longer and I HOPE it will not shrink to much since I want to be able to cover my feet when I am laying down on my couch. It is a spot on 52" in length out of the box and I am expecting it to shirk about 1 to 2" since that is what the $39 robe did when I washed it. Do keep in mind this is a terry fabric and it will pull if you get something that will hook on to the terry loops. I have been snipping off the pulls on the $39 robe everyday but I do have 2 small dogs and one over loving cat (my other cat prefers not to be cuddled...that is a cat for ya! LOL) Also the $39 robe seemed to be a bit big on top but after shrinking it fit fine for a 36" bust line. IF YOU ARE BIGGER THAN A 36" BUST THAN GO UP A SIZE AND YOU SHOULD BE OKAY.I really like the deep color and getting the matching slippers was a very good marketing touch, although they are REALLY big for my size 5 feet.It would have been nice to have a choice of small, medium or large for the slippers but I am sure keeping that kind of inventory as well as keeping track of the orders would be more costs. So I am happy to have a good price for a good product that comes with slippers that were a matching pair. I am sure one of the boys will use them regardless of the color. I would buy this robe again if I needed one or if I were giving it as a gift. I am concerned about the pulling of the threads since it is a finer weave but I will have to live with it since I do have small house pets.

I purchased one of these robes (in the deep red) for my mom for Christmas and she LOVES IT. Loves, loves, loves several times over. She says it's super cozy warm when she gets out of the tub or shower and she especially loves that the shawl collar will pull up around her neck and keep the chills out. The week after Christmas the temperature outside tanked - I'm talking -20F at night with -40F wind chills - and even in the house with the heat going full blast it was often hard to keep warm; my mom practically lived in her robe and, between the collar, the wonderfully long sleeves, and a bottom that goes to the top of her feet, there was nowhere the chills could get in. If I ever need a robe for myself I will absolutely and definitely buy one of these for myself. It's pretty awesome. (Did I mention how pretty the color is? It's super pretty.) Seriously - superlatives aside, I got my money's worth and made my mother very happy.

I was a bit skeptical that this bathrobe would be high quality; as in the photos it looks plush and thick, but again photos are never same as reality, but boy, was I wrong!This robe is very thick, plush and warm (I live in Wisconsin and it's nice to slip into after a shower!). I am 5'8" and the robe hits right above the ankles; which is good, because I personally didn't want a robe to reach and drag across my floor. It's just right!I highly recommend this robe to anyone looking for a quality, thick robe. It's not cheap feeling or looking.On a side note; I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know if it will hold up or become a lint-ridden mess, but I will update this review once I do. :)

My boyfriend and all his weirdness has wanted a pure white robe that draped in the floor so he could feel like a king....? (you could imagine my face when he told me this) for the last 2 years I have searched endlessly for a white robe that would drape the ground on his 6 ft large(muscular) frame.....THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for him to see this robe. It's soft(but not too soft), I'm 5ft9 @nd it drapes the floor for me, I'm fairly certain it will on him as well. This robe is great, hopefully will keep these standards w time.

I'm a smaller guy, -28/29" waist, with a 38" Chest- so after looking at the sizing chart, I thought it might be best to go with the small. Now I kind of wish I'd gone with the medium, not because I don't like how the robe fits, but because the matching slippers are definitely girl sized. (I'm a 9.5 shoe) While I can just manage to squeeze my feet into them, my heels hang off the backs a bit. I would've been okay with a little roomier bathrobe if it meant the slippers would be a better fit. That being said, I'm not really complaining. I know I'm a difficult body type to fit into most sizing charts and I really am quite satisfied with the robe, which was the main thing. Just throwing it out there, since the slippers are not included in the sizing chart, if you're over a 8.5 shoe size, the small slippers will not fit you.The robe is nice and cozy, the Burgundy color is great and it seems to be pretty well made. I'm pretty happy with it.
