BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED
When it arrived I couldn't believe the weight of the package. I opened the box and unpacked everything and was very pleasantly surprised to see two solid ½" aluminum plates with the diamond surface and labeled with the grit size on the side. Then opened the Sharpening Stone Holder that holds the sharpening stones in place, well constructed and stays solidly in place. All this for $19.99 seems impossible, I showed it to a friend and he was amazed at the quality of the sharpening stone kit either (he'll be getting one very soon I think). Started using it right away and i couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase or the quality of the sharpening stone kit.

Solid and easy to handle, rubber no slip base!
I didn't think I needed the holder before. I've been sharpening my blades with just the stone. Let me tell you, the holder makes it so much easier. This holder is solid and keeps the stone on the table and provides a solid base for smooth easy sharpening. I can't believe that I was sharpening with just a base stone before. Also, the sharpening stones themselves are excellent quality.

great quality, easy to use
I have never tried to really sharpen knives before. After seeing a number of tutorials/videos I decided to try it. After a little practice, my knives are now the sharpest I've ever seen. This set arrived in perfect condition and did the job. The non-slip base and rubber pads do a great job of securing the stone.

It's huge!
Wow! I had no idea it was this big! I was delighted with this sharpener when I got it. Very high quality, 2 large stones of different grit, and a well made holder, with everything carefully packaged. My dad works with a lot of tools, and he is THE turkey carver in the family, so I can't wait to see his face when he opens it!

A solid sharpener that will last. Large enough for use on blades and tools, convenient and attractive enough for use in the kitchen. A great gift idea - a quality item for a reasonable price!!! Highly recommend.

Good quality at an attractive price
The stones seem to be very good quality. They aren’t overly aggressive when you use a light touch. Much better quality than I was expecting at this price.
