I bought this as a small gift for my father who has been needing a replacement for his old one, and he absolutely adores it, and cannot live without it! I did a fair amount of research to make sure I'd find the right one for him - and found that regardless of the price point, there seemed to be a few main complaints, including non-uniform grinding, and non-removable container. This ticks both boxes - it seems to grind down coffee beans well and most importantly, uniformly. The most important feature for my dad was the fact that the container could be detached to clean - his previous unit was non-detachable which made cleaning an absolute nightmare! This unit allows you to take the container completely away from the electric base and give it a nice good wash! This means it can be washed easily, so my dad can now switch between grinding coffee beans, to spices making it a great 2 in 1!I did expect my father to be happy, but thought I would inevitably have the same problems as any of his other 5 or so grinders. This has been the absolute opposite - its a pleasure to clean, it does its job perfectly, and looks so stylish! The grinding chamber is metal bodied, and has a glass covering/lid which you press down on to activate the grinder. The other practical aspect of this is that the lid/covering completely cover the grinding container with a seal too, which means no residue can escape. This makes cleaning that 100x easier, since you don't need to worry about the rest of the unit.This unit absolutely deserves the praise it gets, my father loves it, and for that, I am incredibly happy and grateful! Great gift, I cannot reccommend enough! I hope this was useful, and I will make sure to keep an update of this purchase! :)

It looks great, works well so far~used it to grind coffee beans, and got very fine coffee powder, I really like the detachable bowl, very convenient to use and clean, much better than my old Andrew James one, very easy to clean With the brush, recommend!

I love this grinder! I left it in its box for a few days as I always leave it for somedays but as I had just bought my very first coffee beans home from the supermarket, it was now time to use it.OK, so, you put the beans into the bean grinder top bit; put the lid on; press down on the bit which looks like the clip together button - hey presto, coffee! Couldn't be simpler (come to think of it, neither could I).You can separate the grinder cup which is very convenient can be separated.I suppose if you only use it for coffee you could just leave it. I have also used it to make garam masala from fresh spices. As I see it, any flavour crossover will enhance both products!

Really pleased with this product. It grinds the beans really uniformly and the detachable cup is a real bonus, making it easier to spoon out the ground coffee. The little brush which is provided with it is both useful and a good safety feature. The lid is sturdy and, as it is made from clear plastic, it is easy to see when the beans are fully ground.

This is much better than I expected it to be for the price. It grinds the coffee beans quickly and evenly and holds a fair amount of beans also. The lid is secure which is also good. One of the best features is that it is detachable so can be cleaned. All in all I am happy with this item.

Really impressed with this coffee grinder I bought it for my sister as she was complaining that her grinder is starting to burn the coffee when she grinds it. This grinder did a really good job, it didn’t burn the coffee nor did the coffe stick together. Thumbs up from me

This came in one part and very very simple to use. I've never used a coffee grinder before and it was incredibly easy. It ground the coffee beans quite fine and was the right size to use with the cafetiere. Not sure what other grinders are like but I'd definitely recommend this one.

You just need to Pop the beans in and press it for grind. You do have to shake the machine a little for all the beans to grind. Found it easier and cheaper to just go buy the pre ground coffee. No difference in taste just more cleaning, but the provided brush is useful to clean it.
