The idea of using 1/2 of a bottle for packaging might have been eco-friendly, but no one thought about shipping a single product through the US mail. The packaging does not stand up to shipping. Mine was crushed, the lid was off and the plastic used to seal the product was open, leaving the starter sticks exposed to the air. I had to place the sticks in a sealed container of my own.

I recently used this product to start a fire. I only need to use one. It was quick, efficient and easy. The only downfall is the recycled container does not close easily. I will probably end putting them in a sealable gallon size plastic bag.

These little fire starters are awesome! So convenient & definitely work. There’s actually quite a bit that come in this bottle. Very cool packaging too. My husband is an outdoorsman & will take a few of these in his pack now. Great product - definitely recommend. Would buy again.

I no longer need to fuss with lighting news papers for my fireplace to get going. I toss in a few of these guys and light it and walk away. The wood does the rest.

Worked great, more effective and less messy than newspaper for starting fireplace and campfires. Added a can to my go bag for emergencies. They're shrink wrapped so water will stay out until opened.

Used when camping and was easy to use. Had the campfire going in no time.
