Great center stand
I own a 2003 Harley Ultra Classic and wanted to buy a center stand for it. After researching various brands, I chose the Wheeldock for two reasons- it was made in America and ease of installation. I sure made the right decision! The stand is heavy-duty steel and quality built. It took me an hour to install it because of garage space limitations and I am not as flexible as I used to be. I did not try it out yet but when I do I will leave more information on this review. Motor xpress is a wonderful company and their customer service is impeccable! Buy this-you won't regret it. Update 4/8/15- Tried the stand today and it was pretty easy to use. I highly recommend this stand and Moto-Xpress.

Be Careful
The stand was very easy to install on my stock, 2005 HD Road King Classic. I slipped a 1 quart paint can underneath to hold the stand in place while I worked on it. The can held the stand snug against the frame and allowed me to hold the washer while I pushed the bolt through. It really is as easy to install as everyone says. Once installed, I put my foot on the lever and up and back the bike went. Here is where I offer a word of caution. I have the typical concrete garage floor. No extra coating or anything like that. While the bike was on the center stand, I straightened the front fork and the bike rolled forward and off the stand. At first, I though I must not have put the bike far enough back on the stand, but I repeated the procedure several times and each time the bike rolled forward and off the stand. I even tried putting the bike up on the stand with the forks already facing forward. I could use one finger to push the bike forward and off the stand. I think perhaps they designed the stand too short. As I mentioned, I have a stock HD.If I placed a board underneath the stand, the bike is much more stabilized. I'm going to have to get a thicker board to get the wheel off the pavement (for cleaning). When I reviewed the video on EZ web page to see if I had done something wrong, I noticed the demo showed the guy on the HD on a driveway at a slight incline, so of course, the bike didn't roll off. If I had my girlfriend climb on the bike like the woman on the video, we would have had a nasty accident.Pros: It is very, very easy to install. Two bolts and you're done.Cons: The bike rolls off the stand if on level ground at the slightest provocation.CAUTION: I would NOT use this center stand on level ground when you are out and about. You may come back and find your bike on its side. This is probably best used only in your garage or other controlled environment.Would I recommend it? Hmmm...probably not. Although I researched a lot of stands before this purchase, this really could be a very dangerous or costly (if your bike falls) piece of equipment if you are not careful.

Fitment Issue, Not for FLHTPi?
First, the application indicated on both the Amazon site and the Powersports site is incorrect. Probably there is no application for my 2000 HD FLHTPi. but both sites included all FLHT (T is for 'Touring Model'), which is how the fitment is described. The TPi is the police model and ships with special ("runflat") tires on special rims to keep them from rolling off the rims at high speed if deflated, This may be the reason that the Wheeldock is impossible to deploy - those tires/wheels may cause the frame to be closer to the ground - on my TPi the frame must be lifted too high to engage the over center locking function of the Wheeldock - 'too high' meaning the weak chromed lever does not provide sufficient "lever"-age to lift the bike as high as needed. Also the mounting system with the threaded "washer" plates is faulty from an installation design perspective...if the plates had collars as thick as the frame crossplate they mount to, then installation would be greatly simplified by using either "neodyn" magnets or duck tape to hold the plates in position from the underside of the frame crossplate while starting the bolt threads [for those trying to visualize this, the Wheeldock actually contacts the bike at the frame rails and does not actually sandwich the frame crossplate between the Wheeldock crosspiece and the Wheeldock threaded plates]. As others have mentioned this whole mounting arrangement is simple (good!), but CHEAP (bad!). Bolts even 1/8" longer would also simplify mounting ...and would still leave clearance under the transmission... but would not be a common hardware size, therefore require production instead of "bin picking."Installation was a pain, but not impossible after figuring out the issues. Not working after installation using the provided hardware is a whole other point of dissatisfaction!I will eventually remanufacture the Wheeldock to lower its mounted height enough to work with the FLHTPi (grinding off the existing "feet," shortening the legs, welding on new "feet.") Purchase cautiously.

Works good, hopefully lasts a long time!
Very easy to install, about 5 mins. Very sturdy and stable! The chrome foot lever that you use to kick the stand out is a little long, a bit annoying when it hits you in the leg during normal manuvering but not much you can do with it... It does make the cleaning the bike especially the rear wheel alot easier!...

Greatest thing since sliced bread !!!
I love this thing. It is built solid, heavy duty, works perfectly, looks good. I can't say enough good about it. Slip a piece of 3/8" plywood under it and clean your rear wheel with ease. One important thing though--be very careful that you are ordering the one for your specific bike.

Nice addition to the UltraClassic
This stand installed easily and works great. I have no reduced cornering clearance trouble with this stand and it looks good to.
