They want you to fix it to use it
One of owner Scott knows their product doesn’t work and they are still sending them out. After a day or two the coils ice up because the fan is installed wrong. There is no mention of this anywhere on the website. But when you look up the problem on their blog their fix is to unscrew the fan and rotate it. So you have to fix it to use it.

Master 30 is junk.
Simply doesn't work. Wi-Fi doesn't work. Unit froze up and then I was told to rotate the fan to fix problem. I did as directed and it still freezes up every 3 days. This morning it was 80 degrees and froze up again. Requested a return. $600 for something that has ruined my bone-in ribeye roast Is not a quality item. Is it just the master 30 that is bad or all.models?

The temperature.
I just received my Kingsford SteakAger Master 30 on December 20, 2018. After setting it up and runing it for several hours the temperature stays at 39 to 40 degrees. I like to fine a way to get the temperature lower. My machine is a little noise. Maybe more about this later.

Delivery and craftsmanship questionable
I am willing and hoping that I can change this to a 5 star review. However, I’m not holding my breath. I ordered November 29th; have had several email exchanges with a Rachel and a Scott, had some phone calls and some texts. As it currently stands, I could get my master 30 shipped “soon”, but I will have to repair. OR - I can wait a few more weeks and have my product assembled correctly, requiring no at home repairs. Anyway, when/if I receive and it works as sold, I’ll be happy to give a better review.

Great idea that saves money with little effort!
A great upgrade from the original. After making a small 2 minute adjustment because of a manufacturing defect my unit performs flawlessly. The progress can be monitored from anywhere using the app if the ager is connected to your wifi. Now I can make a great steak at home when I used to have to hit a high end restaurant and spend damn near a hundred dollars. Humidity control would be a nice addition. Biggest downside is waiting for the machine to do its job and age the meat!

Exceptionally loud, poor quality, low humidity
1) the quality is shoddy, as others have mentioned, I'll look into the fix, as others mentioned, but its disappointing for the price.2) It reports a different temperature on the app than it does on the sensor that I put into it myself to compare by a range of about 5 degrees +-3) Everywhere I've looked, the range of humidity to prevent product loss and drying out is between 75%-85% humidity (including from govt websites). Ranging as low as 50% in some rare cases. This unit maintains humidity in the low 30's. I'm going to try to add a try of water or something to see if we can improve the humidity, but I'm really disappointed with the item.
