A simple solution that works.
My doctor recommended a "simple" band for my inflamed tendon. He said what I need is the same device as for tennis elbow, even though my ailment is different, and that I don't need to spring for an expensive band with bells and whistles. This seemed just what the doctor ordered, not expensive, and it does the trick. I don't wear it constantly, but it seems it will hold up well enough to give my tendon a good, long rest.On thing, though. It came with absolutely no documentation. The image currently shown seems to be entirely wrong. The firm rubber pad is under the logo, which in the photo appears to be on the outside of the arm. As my doctor demonstrated with his thumb, I need pressure near the inside angle of the elbow. So ask your physician or therapist how to properly use it. Some guidance might be available on line from other products, I haven't checked. After a few weeks of intermittent use, I find that, in order to get full effect, I really have to stretch it as tight as possible and position it as close as possible to my elbow. It leaves a mark for a bit after removal, but no problem; it's still comfortable enough to wear for extended periods.UPDATE (After a couple months of intermittent use): It still does the job, and I'm able to wear it for long periods without noticing. But if covered with a sleeve, I also don't notice that often the plastic "loop" gets askew. This is because the material is stretchy, and if you don't pull it tight in an even manner, it will distort after awhile. I sewed the "loop" more closely, but there's still enough leeway in the loop itself that it still twists and bunches up. The solution might be for them to use a non-stretch fabric, but then it wouldn't be the same product. I find that if I favor the side of the strap higher up my arm when tightening the velcro, and check it occasionally, that's fine. So it's not perfect, but it's good enough, and I'm satisfied.

Meh - will be trying something else :\
Ok. No breakthrough design here. Essentially a wide neoprene band with velcro and a neoprene covered gel pad. Somewhat bulky, but I believe any brace with a pad will look and feel that way. Build quality generally good, but felt a bit short in length when folding closed (and I have a skinny arm). Because of the short wraparound length, the end would rub against my body while playing tennis, thus peeling the end off/open. This action seemed to wear down the velcro prematurely. The pad did not feel like it helped, and may have lessened the supporting effect since the gel created less positive pressure. Too tight, and the gel pad became a bit painful - D-ring would pinch as well. Will be trying a different brace.

OK, but velcro isn't durable enough
After several months of use, I'm disappointed in this product. While it provides the stated compression, the velcro portion is just not adequate. These use micro hooks that are extruded plastic and get deformed very easily. As a result, the edges of the velcro continually loose their ability to hook and curl up. I've cut away these areas since they get caught on clothing very easily. Their ability to stay hooked is weakening over time and I can tell that I'll end up having to replace it sooner than expected. I will replace it with one that uses standard hook and loop rather than with the micro hooks. Micro hooks may be fine for one-time use baby diapers, but not for something that can be constantly taken on and off. They just aren't durable enough.

Excellent support for elbow/forearm tendonities
This is a great support brace for anyone with tendonitis in the elbow area. The brace provides good solid support for your forearm which enables healing to occur in the elbow area as the overall strain is lessened. I was wary because the price is lower than some other models and I thought it might not be effective, but it is great, and I also really appreciated having the wrist band which comes with it. I use them both and my arm already feels better.

Relieves pain, a bit bulky
Upon recommendation from my doctor I bought this product to help relieve pain and let my tendons/muscles in my elbow and forearm rest. I've been wearing it on and off as needed for six months now and I can say that it definitely helps. It is a little bulky due to the nature of what it is used for, but worth wearing. The only thing I might say is that after a while the Velcro becomes less grippy and starts to catch on everything and sometimes falls off. The pain relief outweighs the Velcro issue in my opinion, so I'll probably purchase a second band as a back up.

It works great!
I have been going to the gym every other day for a year and a half. I enjoy using the weight and aerobic machines. I tried using a heavier weight and ouch, I got a pain in my lower left arm. I iced it and took an Advil, but when I tried to lift weights again, my arm would throb in that one spot. My sister-in-law is a nurse and she suggested I buy an elbow support brace. I checked out all the reviews and I am so glad I bought this one. It has really helped the pain. It still throbs a bit when I am lifting, but there is no pain when I am done. This product really works for me. Thank you.

Lets me do my job.
My arm was in a lot of pain. I couldnt lift boxes at work. Also when I would use the trigger button on my scanner (which is a lot) it would hurt. I bought these and they allow me to grip item without deopping them. Ive had a weak grip since my elbow pain started. The ecta wrist support i gave to my father. He was allergic to the fabric.I love these supports.
