Review: Good amount of light, but not all that dimmable - The bulbs look good in the chandelier, having a decorative bent tip and the give a good amount of light for the amount of electric they consume. The colour spectrum of the light is to my mind slightly pinkish rasther than the more yellowish light I am accustomed to, but it's not a big deal. Although marked dimmable the bulbs jump from dimmish to fully bright at the slightest turn of the dimmer switch. There is no gradual increase in brightness, as happened with the halogen bulbs these replaced. Still, as the energy consumption is now about 40watts instead of 250watts it's a relatively small inconvenience, which could possibly be rectified with a specialist dimmer switch designed for LED bulbs.

**Q: The selection shows flame tip bullet nose, but the pictures show flame tip are they frosted, flame tip, small bayonet ?**
A: They are "flame tipped" & frosted but not SBC, the ones I bought are SES - small edison screw.

**Q: So much confusion !! you show bent tip frosted, but the product description says “billet nose” - I want frosted, bent tip small bayonet as you show !**
A: It seems I have frosted short bayonet cap candle bulbs as advertised.

**Q: Can these work on non-dimmable switch?**
A: Hi, yes I would think so. Dimmable bulbs should work at full output on ordinary switches. However, dimmable bulbs often cost more, so if you only have non dimmable switches that just switch on & off, there is no point in buying dimmable bulbs.

**Q: I have purchased these "dimmable" led bulbs but they still flicker like the "non-dimmable", is there anything I can do to stop this happening?**

The bulbs look good in the chandelier, having a decorative bent tip and the give a good amount of light for the amount of electric they consume. The colour spectrum of the light is to my mind slightly pinkish rasther than the more yellowish light I am accustomed to, but it's not a big deal. Although marked dimmable the bulbs jump from dimmish to fully bright at the slightest turn of the dimmer switch. There is no gradual increase in brightness, as happened with the halogen bulbs these replaced. Still, as the energy consumption is now about 40watts instead of 250watts it's a relatively small inconvenience, which could possibly be rectified with a specialist dimmer switch designed for LED bulbs.
