Cord broke off within a day
This water bottle works just as well as my swell bottle when it comes to cold and hotness but I bought this bottle for the cord on the top of the bottle. The cord promptly broke off the top of my bottle within a few hours of use and the second bottle I bought within a few days! Such a disappointment! And I bought my dad one and he said the gasket fell out when hot drinks were in the bottle.

Good Features! - but some problems developed after a while
I researched options and chose this water bottle partly because of its 17-oz. capacity. I purchased three of them...one to keep Sleepytime tea hot overnight, the other two for water...one goes by my computer, the other where I eat my meals. I like the feel in the hand, and they do keep liquids hot/cold as promised. I have used them for just a few days, and already one bottle is missing the white plastic ring inside the cap, can't find it anywhere, possible it was never there. Wish the ring did not come out so easily.2/12/17 ADDENDUM: I contacted customer service about the missing ring...they promptly sent me a new cap. This company places a high value on excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Upgrading my review from four stars to five stars.

Not for younger set
I wanted to love these bottles. I bought a total of 4, two for each kid to replace Funtainers b/c I didn't want to replace straws anymore.Pro: They aren't glass and have a loop carrier.Con: Sadly, the bottles are too tall to fill through a filter on the refrigerator. They are also hand wash. And all four of the handles broke off and you can not replace. I contacted customer service and they sent two new tops, both of those loops came out within a week. My son just dropped one while putting it in the sink, the bottom bent and now it will not stand up straight. All four need to be returned.

I am very disappointed in this product
I am very disappointed in this product. I used it for the first time and after I filled it up with water and held onto the handle on top - the string popped out and my thermo tank fell on the ground. The strap is not securely attached to the lid. The main reason I bought this was because it had a strap I could carry. I was going to buy one for my daughter but after this happened I cancelled my order.

Super-Cool Bottle Keeps Beverages COLD... Even in a Sweltering Day!!
I'll admit that initially the biggest selling point to me, when searching for a sweat-free, insulated water bottle, was that this one comes in lime (or apple, take your pick) green, which is one of my favorite shades. Having a carry loop on the lid made it even more appealing. Finally, the (clever!) inclusion of a matching built-in grip (not necessary, but definitely a cool tactile feature) sealed the deal.So, how does this baby perform? Seemingly, very well! It keeps liquids nice and cold--even when I've left it sitting in the sun in a hot, closed-up automobile for a few hours, as well as all day (or certainly by the time I finish) whatever water or beverage I've got in it, at home or work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others, and I'll likely be getting a few more to keep and give as gifts. Great product!! (Side note: I purchased this myself, and am reviewing it as a buyer, not because of any rewards... :))

This IS the best water bottle ever!!!! Genius
I don’t love my new water bottle...I super love my ThermoTank.This bottle answered all my issues with the annoying nipple style bottles.1. I like my water cool, not room temp2. I hated freezing my camelback with a chunk of ice in the bottom then adding water. It sweated like crazy. I am so over those nipples that need cleaning and used to worry me it was full of bacteria.3. I love my new Thermostat Tank so much I can’t even list all the reasons here.4. Bummer is when I ordered, my choice was hot pink or hot turquoise and I dislike both colors a lot. Got the hot pink.Would love the green color.5. Water is so nice and cool all day.This bottle changed my life. Seriously I love this bottle. I take it to the pool when I swim at night and it is so fabulous that my water tastes so fresh.

String falls out, poor design on the lid.
I like the bottle, the size is great and it's a perfect size for fitting in my car while traveling. The water stays nice and cold (I have not tried it with hot liquids).However, the string came out within a week. I didn't really purchase the bottle for that feature but it is annoying. There are many reviews with people having the same complaint and one would think the company would make their caps a little more solid.It's a good thing it didn't fall on my bare foot, that would have been very painful indeed.

I should have stuck with the S'well. Throwing out the top because of mildew that I can't clean.
Great service and I love the loop that my last similar bottle did not have. And the Thermo Tank is less expensive.So I either didn't bother to read the reviews posted or I ignored them but I'm taking away some stars.The bad news is that two months after receiving the bottle the loop came off (the main reason I bought this brand)...the good news is that the filled bottle missed my bare foot by less than an inch.Very disappointed.
