You may think why to spend money on a bracelet, but this may turn out to be the most indispensable part of your life in case of any emergency or even day to day situations also. This is a life saver and also useful in a long list of works, literally it has a versatile amount of usage. To be honest, I haven't yet used it for any adventure or hiking purpose after receiving it from the manufacturer, but I find it helpful in day to day situations and always carry it with me, because you never know what kind of emergency or critical situations are waiting for you. Based on my experience and evaluation of the product I have stated my opinions below.✔✔✔✔✔PROS:✔✔✔✔✔✔ The material of the cord is purely what you will get on a parachute cord. It is thick and very durable, the tensile strength of the cord is incredible. It seems like it is weaved in a very complicated way, but it is not, I was able to find out the ends of the cord at the very first glance throughout. So at emergency situations it will be very easy to unwind the cord. The incredible strength of the cord can take 250+ kilograms or 550 pounds of weight easily it seems, though I haven't tried that yet. Though once you unravel the cord it will no more restore into a bracelet, and at that moment the cord will be useful for a million situations. It seems there is a 10-12 feet of cord overall in this bracelet in a single piece, that is good length of paracord for many of the works out there.✔ The bracelet has a buckle made of hard plastic. The buckle is not simple though, it has a whistle at one end with a fire split at the middle, at the other end there is a compartment at the middle containing a small knife, with a branding over it. The whistle has a good sharp pitch of sound, which in my estimation can be heard up to about 40-50 metres of distance. Thus it will be very useful if you need for someone's help in an emergency situation or even call someone in a far off distance without ruining your voice by shout for some days. Coming to the knife, well it can be used to cut small things quite easily but you will need some real effort if you try to cut thick rope or that kind of thing, but at the end it will succeed in cutting that.✔ The fire splint is made of magnesium and it has a coat of black paint over it, so you have to scrap that off before using the product. For getting sparks of it you have to use the corrugated side of the knife provided and use that to hit the split diagonally for getting out sparks, now there are different ways to get sparks from split out there, but this is the basic one.✔ The bracelet is somewhat around 7 inches in length without the buckle and around 10 inches with the buckle in open condition, so it will fit in almost any wrist unless it is really wide and you can wear it as a bracelet. The folded condition is small as well, so you can even keep it at any corner of your backpack and it won't take up much space. But I guess, metal buckle would have been great, though most of the survival bracelets contains plastic buckle, but there is nothing wrong in something new, but that also would have increased the weight at the same time would have increased the pitch of the whistle also.That was all the opinion that I had about this product till the very present but I will definitely update the review if I get something more to mention about.
