The previous answer is WRONG, this product is very well made and WILL NOT LEAK. i accidentally left some belgian waffle batter (about enough to make 1/2 of a 7" round waffle) on the counter for 4 days, and nothing had leaked out. You could easily make extra batter and store it in this container without having to worry about leaking. The batter flows very well, and the wisks work great to mix the batter, remix it after the batter thickens. I also like mini chocolate morsels in my waffels, and the wisks work great to keep them suspended in the batter and to help the batter/morsel combo to flow easily out the spout. One warning, though: the morsels will scratch the bottom of the container. It is easy to assemble and disassemble for cleanup.

**DO NOT BUY!**THE GOOD:-Center beater is geared to turn ~5 times faster than outer beater creating sheer forces necessary for good mixing.-Beater arms reach deep enough into bottom of funnel to ensure no un-mixed bits.-Great control over batter pour, very few drips. Makes nicely uniform pancakes with no mess.THE BAD:-Needs more holes. In the dishwasher, the underside of the cup collects dishwasher water, preventing a proper cleaning and rinsing. It needs a drainage hole or two-Still needs more holes. The lid that contains the gearing for the whisk is not sealed well enough to prevent water intrusion in the dishwasher. After a single trip through the dishwasher, the innards of the lid were swimming in gross dishwasher water. Although I'd like to hope for a better sealed gearbox, at this price point I suspect some properly placed drainage holes is more likely.-The pivot pin for the valve handle is made of something other than stainless steel. So, it came out of the dishwasher rusty. The rust did not get bad enough to hinder the function of the unit, however it had only been through the dishwasher twice.THE UGLY:-It literally broke after three uses. Broke in two places: The clear plastic hole that the valve handle pivot pin sits in, and the handle end of green plastic valve linkage. (See pictures)-These were THREE very light uses. Specifically: three uses in a residential kitchen setting, operated by a competent, responsible, non-ape handed adult in his late 30's to prepare pancakes for a family of four with modest appetites.-The THREE washings of this unit were completed in the top rack of of a Bosch SHE3AR75UC model residential dishwasher using Finish Powerball All in 1 dishwasher detergent tablets.-Did I mention I used it THREE times! That's like 5 bucks per use! Those were some pretty spendy pancakes!CONCLUSION:-A five star idea in a one star package.-DO NOT BUY... unless you like to make your family really expensive pancakes.

So, I work in a commercial kitchen with low breakfast volume and even though I knew this wasn't heavy duty, I bought it to try. I worked with it for about a week in the commercial kitchen with no problems but my line cooks didn't like using it so I brought it back home for personal use. As I was retrieving it from a shopping bag, it fell from a height of about 3 feet to linoleum kitchen floor and the dispensary handle completely broke off, rendering it useless. Granted, it had to fall pretty perfectly for this chain of events to happen. I personally liked the product alot and it seemed well constructed, even for commercial use, until its fated fall. I would still buy it again due to the price point and construction.

Highly recommended. We bought our 11 year old a waffle maker for Christmas along with the batter dispenser. This dispenser feels to be of good quality and was packaged nicely. It is very easy to use, the mixing handle feels solid and moves easily. It mixes the batter efficiently and quickly. The handle opens the bottom to pour the batter out of the bottom. It hasn’t leaked yet and is watertight when filled with water. Cleans well in the dishwasher.While not a necessity, it is awesome to make up batter the night before, put in the fridge and have it ready for the morning. Our 11 y/o loves it and uses it every weekend. Well worth it for the price.

Suitable for purpose, although not particularly well made and could be better designed if it has a rubber grommet at the dispensing area. Overall it represents good value for money though and does the job as stated.

The handle sticks a little when using. Also you have to mix it in a separate bowl and then poor it into the despencer. If you mix it in the despencer you will have batter not mixed at the very tip and clog it. I really like it when making a ton of pancakes! Overall I’m happy I don’t feel like it’s going to lasts a long time but it works for the time.UpdateOnly lasted 6 months and really used it under ten times.!! Handle broke! In this throwaway world we live in super disappointing that it didn’t last longer.

My husband was looking for a battery dispenser and I found this one in my search. He loves it! He is very pleased with the cost too. Said it is the best dispenser he could ask for. Easy to use, easy to clean and a lot of fun to use.

Once I got the proportions of my pancake batter as I like it (I kind of add milk until I like the consistency of the batter) this little mixer and dispenser did a great job! I especially like the dispensing of the batter onto the hot griddle. No drips and easy to control the amount of batter/size of the pancake.
