It packs a lot already and can get pretty heavy, so I don't think I would be comfortable lugging around the medium sized one for long. I don't drive where I live and use public transport to get into the city to go to the gym and this is literally the perfect gym bag for me. Plenty of compartments to place all your personal belongings (2+ water bottles, change of clothes, makeup and toiletries, wallet, tissues, a pair of sandals), and most importantly, it fits well in Gym lockers. If you drive and don't need to jam your bag into a locker and need more space, then you can possibly consider getting the medium. Really depends on your personality needs. I highly recommend this bag. Two thumbs up!
