What a surprise! Such big bass sound out of this cool little unit. We love mid-century modern design and this fits right in with our aesthetic while providing ample room-filling sound. The photos don't do it justice, it's sturdy and easy to use however the radio tuner took a little getting used to. Down side- there is no meter that let's you know your battery power is low so when it's out it just tells you it's going to shut down and unfortunately you can't play and charge at the same time without a 5V charger. Also the AC power cord is pretty short (for my needs anyway), so I purchased a longer one separately on Amazon. Frankly if you're looking for a bookshelf system to put sound in a room I'd go with this. It won't outdo my Bose stereo system, but for its size and power it holds its own.
