Not functional - Port openings too small
It’s a shame that such a well priced and attractive looking case is not functional. Whoever did the molding made the openings for the charge port and the Apple Pencil too small. The USB-C charger port opening does not accommodate the Apple USB Cord bezel. It fits in the opening but not far enough to actually connect for charging. Ditto for the Apple Pencil opening. The pencil magnetically attaches but the plastic is just a little too small to allow the pencil to charge. They did a good job with the volume up and down buttons. But it is not reasonable to take the iPad out of the case for charging.

Great Case
This is a great case and it’s perfect for the 12.9 inch (2018) iPad pro. Having 3 different positions to use my tablet in is fantastic. Additionally each position is really sturdy and can be used on a bed or on top of blankets. I can also still use all of my buttons with the case on. It also allows the Apple Pencil to be held in place, but you do have to take the case off to charge which is incredibly inconvenient. The corners are also really snug which makes getting the case on and off slightly difficult. As a result, I now have scratches in all four corners of my iPad.

Good cover
Unlike the first cover I bought, this one actually allows access to necessary controls. It is very lightweight and thin and pleasant to handle. There’s only one very slight problem: no way to grab the magnetized screen cover to open it for use! It wants to remain in place covering the screen. I put a piece of heavy tape on it which provides something to grab the cover with so that it can be “opened.” I do wonder why the designers missed this very obvious hiccup though........ Otherwise very happy with the reasonably priced cover.
