Had driver problems. Worked on half computers tried.
If you have problems download FTDI driver.

Affordable and flexible DMR and Dstar Solution for licensed ham radio operators.
- Dstar and DMR in a dongle if you have a PC and spkr /mike along with WIFI access for the PC. No radios needed, and I would say better, faster and very much cheaper than other alternatives.I found a couple of tricks needed for the install but it works very well once it is set.Check out Youtube videos, be sure to use USB2 port on PC. Also I had to adjust the AMBE baud rate to 460800 to get the firmware to respond. Patience may be required but full access to all Brandmeister DMR talkgroups without a codeplug is very appealing.DMR gives you access to all Brandmeister talkgroups on a lookup or enter-it-manually option with NO programming of codeplugs.DStar just a few clicks away with connect it and click and again no repeater/ link procedure.

no support
This dongle has next to no support from the manufacturer. To use on windows relies on software developed by a couple hobbyists. No support for issues. Little information available on user forums. It came from Gigaparts in an envelope with just the dongles. No other information. On top of that the Gigaparts inventory label was pasted on top the product label around the protective usb cap. So to plug it in you had to remove the label which then pealed all the product labeling off the dongle.

DV stick 30
Bought it for laptop so when traveling, I would not need digital radio or HT/hotspot to pack.Installed easily, but be careful. Windows can make this a pain. I had to turn microphone privacy off (‘unspecified error” on transmitting) and make sure you install the correct driver for the correct stickOnce that was accomplished, DMR, Dstar, Fusion all worked well on transmit and receive. The manual is so-so and given this is a hobby (the stick) there is no support, other than other Hams like myself, on YouTube. I use Dstar and DMR quite a bit, in addition to HF and local repeaters. For those having problems with installation, there are some excellent YouTube videos that go step-by-step. And yes, to use this device, you have to be a licensed ham.For me, worth it. 5 stars.

Works good with BlueDv sw
Some complain abt instructions, if you research before you buy, you will find lots of info on youtube and ham reviews. Unfortunally I bought mine from giga...., had stickers hard to remove covering the manufacturers info. The dongle works good with a good computer and good internet speed. It also works with Fusion using BlueDv software.

good device but documentation is lacking
I got this to use with a DVMega cast, and it works well with that device in AMBE server mode once you figure out how to plug it in to the inside of the radio, or in slot 2. It also worked well in stand-alone mode on Windows, once I figured out that I needed to peel the label off from Gigaparts. The description in the DvMega cast documentation makes you believe that it supports Fusion as well, as BlueDV has Fusion listed in the menus, but it only supports DMR and DStar.
