K BEAUTY : Gentle Deep Cleansing Camellia Olive Oil, Melts away makeup with no residue, Non Irritating (Travel size)

I got the travel size of this to try out but I will be getting the full size once I run out. I was looking for a natural cleansing oil because I wanted to stop using makeup wipes due to the preservatives in them that irritated my skin/the waste that comes with using wipes and an oil that didn’t have any unnecessary ingredients, mineral oil, or silicones in it and this fit the bill perfectly. I use this oil every night, whether I’ve worn makeup or not. It takes off makeup really well though if that’s what you’re primarily buying it for (I was skeptical but it literally just dissolves everything, even mascara).After use my skin feels soft, moisturized, and cleansed but not stripped. I massage it for a few minutes over my entire face. It smells really good and since using it, my makeup applies over my problematic large pores near flawlessly which is something I have struggled with for a long time. I also haven’t had a breakout since I started using this nightly, which is impressive to me since I tend to breakout when using new products. I love this and so does my skin!

*Note: this is a travel size* Color me stupid for knowing that but still being surprised when it arrived in such a small bottle. It's a thicker oil, so you need a bit more to fully cover your face, but it's probably the most effective cleansing oil I've ever used. It completely removed my eye makeup with no residue, and there was no stinging or irritation whatsoever. It's on the more expensive side, but I'm considering buying the full size because it's so nice!

This is super gentle for dry skin, and I believe it doesn't have the microplastics that some other emulsifying oil cleansers have. It works really well at removing makeup and sunscreen, too.

I thought this oil cleanser was just okay, but unfortunately, not my favorite that I've tried. What I DO like about it is that it seems to work pretty well, it rinses off easily and doesn't leave an oily feel to my skin. What I don't like is that the consistency is so thick, I feel like I have to use a lot of product just to get it to spread evenly over my entire face, and I don't think the bottle will last long at all. I'm also not crazy about the smell. It doesn't smell necessarily bad, but not exactly how I want my cleanser to smell either. Maybe I'm weird, but it smells like brand new magazines! Hah. So, to sum this up, although this cleanser wasn't bad, it's not my favorite, and I probably won't order it again.

Sadly it broke me out. But it did make my skin super soft.

I tried a sample of Tatcha first and fell in LOVE. Reviews said this is close and it really is. Doesn’t smell quite as nice but works equally well. I’ll buy the large bottle next time. Great value!

I had heavy makeup done for special occasions, and this melted everything off effortlessly and within a few minutes (even stubborn eyelash glue). I washed my face afterwards and didn't experience any of my usual dryness. I plan on buying a full sized bottle, when mine runs out :)
