The Hobbit / The Lord of the Rings Elf Tauriel Cosplay Wig Golden Brown Hair

I would like to give this a 5 star rating because the color in the photos is accurate and the length is fantastic. But there are a few things that keep me from doing so. I was sadly disappointed to find that it was NOT braided and the ends were somewhat tangled requiring me to comb/brush it out - which is difficult with hair this long. The rubber band used to hold thee strands was quite literally a rubber band which i had to cut off to avoid damaging the hair There is also NO widows peak as indicated in the pictures. While the braiding is not TOO much of a problem - though extremely time consuming with such a long wig that tangles extremely easily - the lack of the widows peak is more frustrating at it is less accurate and also shapes to my natural hairline a bit oddly without it. I do like it, and the fact that the color is so accurate to the picture compared to many wigs that are poorly represented has me rating it as a 4 rather than a 3. I feel that it would be better represented without showing the braid in the future and no widows peak. The first picture is a better indicator of the color than the second. The second I included to show the rubber band and no braids.

This wig is nothing at all like the one pictured. It has no braids whatsoever, the hairline is oddly shaped(not a widow's peak like pictured), and it came messy and frizzy. Such a disappointment to receive a week before Halloween.

This wig is very nice. Very thick, and well constructed. The few complaints are:-cheap looking rubber bands holding it together-several short little hairs that I don't know what they are and kind of poke out-the color is really more auburn than even the photo shows. The photo looks a little more brown than the wig is.-the widows peak is really thick and kind of sticks up. I had to pin it into the wig cap to help that. Even then, it didn't look very natural. I was using it for a zelda cosplay, so it was covered by a crown/headpiece, but otherwise this is something to keep in mind.All in all, really a great price for a beautiful wig.

I didn’t really know what to expect with the mixed reviews, but it’s exactly how it looks in the picture. I didn’t like the braids because they were too loose and one wasn’t braided to my liking, but that’s no big deal. I cut the rubber bands off and replaced them and it looks much better. It’s very pretty and fits well, however, is quite heavy (which I expected with that much hair), and tangles very very easily. So take good care of it and be gentle especially when brushing out, which works quite well, and you’ve got yourself a very nice wig. Would definitely recommend.

Wore this with my Tauriel costume for Halloween and I loved it! The quality is fantastic and the details on the brands are lovely. It's a very long (and sort of heavy) wig but I wore it for 8+ hours and it was fine. It's a lovely chestnut/reddish brown. Got a lot of compliments!

I had trouble with this wig. It is not easy to work with if it gets messed up at all, e.g., in shipping. I ended up just making it worse. Instructions would have been nice.

Pretty good. I used a curling iron on it with a low-medium setting with no problems or burning. The only set back was the thick unnatural widow's peak but I just tucked it in. Fit nice and snug and was grateful for the cap that came with.

The wig sent to me was very long, but other than that it did not resemble the photo or description! It's not braided and doesn't have a part down the middle so is impossible to braid without seeing the tracks underneath, it doesn't have a widows peak and is not the same color (it is a lighter red, not very rich). If you're looking for the details, don't buy this one. If you just want a really long wig then it might work for you.
