Disappointed now - happy in the past - please read
Let me start by saying we bought two of these 6.5 inch twin size mattresses for our kids 5 years ago. They have been awesome for their beds!. We have even enjoyed sleeping on them and they can tolerate my 245 lbs. So a few weeks ago we bought two of the thinner (5.5 inch) for us grownups. They didn't come close to that depth or firmness stated. We sent them back. Lesson learned and we bought just one of the 6.5 inch just to see.Well, as you can see from the picture, it does not measure up either! I originally thought it was a half inch short. But as you can see it is a whole inch short! Our five year old version is taller than the new one, even with daily use.The old ones are also firmer than this new one, even after five years of use. The new mattress is definitely not nearly as dense as the originals. Don't get me wrong, it is firm but a more like a squishy firm couch. If I sleep on my side, I can feel the floor or bed frame below - I tried sleeping with this on several surfaces. If I sit on it, I compress the mattress all the way. I have never done either of those things with the older versions. These mattresses still have no smell, which is a plus as I am very chemical sensitive. They are made in the USA. They come to their height fairly quickly, though we let ours sit three days to make sure.Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill in five years!!!!! Not the correct height, not as firm or as dense.I called the company once. The nice lady said I could go through Amazon to return anything I wan't happy with. While I can, I would like the company to know their quality control or cutting corners has been noticed.Sadly my five year old will get the short new mattress because we need one of the others for an adult. Hopefully it lasts for my child but as I sit on the corner of her bed and sing songs and read bedtime stories, it probably won't last long enough to justify 176 dollars.

FOAM DOES NOT HOLD UP
I ordered two of these. One for myself and one for my father. Both of us are 250lb+. I drive a Volvo, he drives a Peterbilt. Both of us have issues with the foam density. After laying on this mattress for about an hour or so it compresses to the point where you might have been better off ordering a pre-schoolers nap mat. The outside craftsmanship looks great but if you are on the heavier side like most truckers are, don’t bother.

Great for the price !!!!
The mattress is comfy enough especially since it’s only 6 inches. It fit perfectly in the space - RV’s always have their own odd size everything which is sometimes a real pain in the @$$. The bottom edge where it was very compressed is not yet at capacity after 24 hrs so I hope it will continue to enlarge more or I will have bit of a sloped mattress!!!!! We shall see tho it probably just needs a little more time because it was super compressed on that edge. I also bought a 3 inch topper to ad to the thickness because I feel for me it is not quite thick enough . It’s not a bad little mattress for the price tho so I do recommend it for an RV . The material is nice and it looks fine. All in all it is a great mattress for the price.

not real happy with this piece at all
not real happy with this piece at all. the size was correct for me, unlike other recent reviews i read. but the foam quality leaves a lot to be desired. yes, i am of a larger frame at 6'5", and 290 lbs., but the foam isnt dense enough for anyone over 250 lbs.they need to realize that when marketing to a certain customer, such as those in the trucking industry, the quality of a product like this needs to better. laying on this mattress, the section at my torso compresses to nearly nothing.i also believe that the price point on this item is also too high. but, the mattress market as a whole is a complete racket. unless we are talking about a Sleep Number bed, you cannot touch a quality mattress for the truck for less than 5 - 6 hundred. which i believe is ridiculous. but, for those of us that knows what life on the road is like, taking a big hit for good sleep is probably a must.so, to recap:price is too highquality is too low

strictly a kids mattress
Would return them (2) if i could rebox them. Used them in a van RV. Only tolerable during a month of travel, we removed them. Too soft, no support. Over priced. We expected more. Would like a refund and we could donate to a charity

Comfortable and supportive
Very happy! Bought this for our camper. It's super comfortable. Unfortunately it wasn't quite the right fit; the mattress foam is probably 48"x80" but the non-removable cover on it adds a couple inches all around. I cut open the cover and used an electric knife to trim the mattress then sewed the cover back up. Fits perfectly now. And so comfy given that it's a camper mattress!

Not true to size!
The mattress measures 36" x 75" x 5.5". It is definitely not 6.5 as advertised and it's an inch shorter than it's advertised length. I would have returned it if it wasn't such a hassle

Great for camper, not best for back.
Product is good material, fits camper perfectly. True to size. It's got some cushion but the mattress is a bit too firm. As someone with back problems I do find that sometimes the lack of cushion does exacerbate my lower back pain. However it seems to be doing well after a few weeks of consistent usage. Doesn't seem to be attracting any moisture or bugs. I'd recommend over sleeping on a cheap futon or on the ground. May invest in a cushy mattress pad to go overtop at someone. It works as expected.
