can I wash the raw wool in a washng machine

Thanks for the question! We personally have sheep that we have shorn and then market the wool. We have honestly lno experience with washing or processing it. I did look up the answer on internet and there's a wide range of ideas how to do so, if u wish to look there. Thanks u for your understanding and Bluebird days your way!

No This unwashed raw wool is all I handle.

I am in need of raw wool with the lanolin still intact, I assume that is the case here as it is unwashed. Does this have lanolin?

Yes it has lanolin and lots of poop too. I bought it for birds to use as nesting material. But it was just too gross for me to handle. Wound up ordering a cleaner wool.
