Hobby Stix Sanding Sticks (7 diff grits/Bag)

These are made by Stevens International, and they are the best sanding sticks I've ever used. Durable, easily cleaned with an acrylic eraser, usable wet or dry, and labeled with the grit size, unlike most. They are also available in 400 grit, which many sticks are not. Going from 320 grit to 600 in one step adds a lot of work to a project. And because they are labeled, you never grab the wrong one and ruin the work you had almost finished. They can also be trimmed into custom shapes, or to get a fresh end. This is best done by cutting the grit and padding layers with a hobby blade or scalpel, then cutting the hard plastic center with wire nippers. Don't use a sprue cutter—sprue cutters are too delicate.
