This is a new super hardwearing barrier/dust mat. It is suitable for any high traffic area of the home or work place. The PVC edge and backing means it will sit completely flat on the floor and will not turn up at the corners, or move on any hard surface i.e. tiles, lino, laminate or wooden flooring, its hard wearing polypropylene top does not shed its pile and can be power hosed for easy cleaning. This mat is available in Grey, Beige, Brown, Red, and Blue.

Good mats but a WARNING: Don't machine wash doormats above 30 degrees
On the whole these are good quality, good looking mats. WARNING: DO NOT machine wash doormats above 30 degrees, as seller has since advised me, following a complaint a few months after purchase, that the rubber had torn along the short side area where the rubber meets tufted carpet, eg 3-4" tear line each side of mat. Apparently tears in these mats may occur due to washes above 30, eg 40 degrees. I have been advised that preferably the carpets should be hosed down (which defeats the object of buying 'machine washable' particularly if bought for convenience, and/or live in a property/flat where hosing down carpets is not an option), I am very disappointed that having bought multiple 'machine washable' doormats, the rubber has torn on EACH of the shorter edges, so-much-so the rubber has had to be cut away to avoid a tripping accident. The carpet, whilst still functional lost it's visual appeal early on in it's life. The larger mats are too big for washing machines and will have be hosed down and/or washed manually (which we have also done. Due to length/weight/size of it may be better for two people to drape it over something to dry). I have just tried a Vax upright carpet cleaner on the in-situ larger mats (on kitchen tiles) and the Vax worked well (but worth checking/turning rubber side up to to it's not water logged beneath the rubber / to let it dry in the air for a short while).OVERALL FINDINGS:I chose these mats based on previous 'positive' reviews. Bought a selection of mats over a period of a few weeks including 1-2 wide/long mats, several long runners and 3 door mats. Cost a small fortune but worth it to help dog stop slipping on a tiled floor (hoped it would be cheaper in the long run than paying more vet bills for bad back/pulled joints etc!). Some customers have commented the mats do not move on floors, but some find otherwise. I'd go 50:50, on floor tiles, and found they did move when on carpet.Despite my door mat grievance, I have given 5 stars as:- seller is efficient and sends new orders quickly each time;- nice mats;- good looking;- very pleased with carpet performance (with the exception of living with disfigured door mats...ugh!)Would I recommend/buy again.....YES, particularly the larger mats. If you want a unadulterated, pristine door mats, I would question the 'machine' washability aspect!

Looks good and good value
Given the price I am pleased with this. It looks good, stays put on our wooden floor and catches the damp and dirt. No way would I put this in a washing machine - when the time comes I will just use some carpet shampoo on it

Good value for money but doesn't provide any kind of barrier for mud. My dog walks over six feet of this matting to enter the house and his paws are just as dirty at the end as they are at the start. Even if I rub his paws on the mat he still leaves paw prints on the floor afterwards.
