Science versus religion.
Being a fan of Dan Brown, I read "Origin" when it first came out. As I have all of his books in my personal library, I purchased this one when it came out on paperback. I won't say whether the book is good or bad. That is a matter of personal opinion. Some people love Brown, others can't stand him. I happen to like all his books, especially the ones featuring Robert Langdon. Sure, they are formulaic, but I like his convoluted plots and I always learn something. I find them all to be enjoyable reads. His books are thought-provoking, if nothing else. Without giving too much away, in case you haven't read it, I will tell you that this particular story has elements of "Frankenstein," "The Terminator," "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Of Mice and Men." The primary theme is "Where do we come from, and where are we going?" and he again tackles the science versus religion controversy. The answer to those questions is eventually revealed, but not without his usual murders, conspiracies, mysterious masterminds, puzzle-solving and trusting the wrong people. I like Dan Brown's books. You can decide for yourself whether you do or not.

A good read.
For the price it is excellent. I didnt want to spend a fortune on the book and this was satisfying to read and then share.
