Treasures from the '30s: Cheerful Quilts with Vintage Appeal

Nice little book, 8 beautiful quilts to make. Beginners luck is my favorite, I love all eight of them though. If you are afraid of piecing curves, no worries, the author turned all the curved piecing in this book to starch applique.

Many of the patterns involve applique in addition to piecing. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. If you are a fan of Aunt Grace fabrics, you will enjoy using these patterns.

I have started the bellflower quilt and can't wait to get it done. I did mine in bright yellows for my sister's guest room.

This is a replacement for a lost book.

Totally in love with the 30's quilting style. I want to try every pattern in this book!

This book, unlike some others I have ordered, was exactly what I expected. The patterns are well-written and the pictures are beautiful. I want to make every quilt in the book!
