Overall disappointed.
So I got these very specifically to wear at a wedding to avoid any discomfort as I was wearing a dress and often my legs rub. I had mixed results. They work well in protecting your legs from irritation, however, the seams do dig in quite a bit leaving their own irritation, though that was mostly temporary. My biggest complaint was, though they held up just fine for the main event, and the night before at the rehearsal dinner, the seam was pulling apart by the end of the second night and a hole had ripped near the waist band. I think the hole was due to me constantly having to pull them up as the waist band is not very sturdy and they slide down a lot, especially in the back. I don't even consider myself to have that large of a rear end, but they really should leave a bit more space back there in consideration to sitting. So they did their job for one event, but I have to say they are hardly worth the price as I don't think I'll be able to wear them again. Overall pretty disappointing considering. Wouldn't really suggest unless they are drastically cheaper and could be worn once and thrown out without guilt.

Perfect for hot summer days
Love these!!! Wore them under a sundress in hot weather, and they worked great! They fit as expected. I am size 18W, or a 2X, and very pear shaped. The size 2X worked great for me, although the waist and the edges of the shorts are a little loose on me. But the main thigh part fits me perfectly. These are lightweight and just enough to prevent chafing and uncomfortable sweating. They also provide a little more confidence and modesty if you're worried about the wind blowing up your skirt or anything like that. I don't usually have bare legs under dresses, and in the winter always have either hose or tights on under dresses. However on hot summer days you really need to be cool. Not to mention, pantyhose just don't look right under a casual summer dress. These shorts do the trick, and provide just enough coverage to be comfortable. They don't offer any compression, but again I really can't stand any compression when it's super hot and humid out. I love these and would absolutely order them again. Wish they came in other colors than just tan and black. A nice navy blue or some other pastel colors would be awesome.

They do the job
The bandelettes do the job. They prevent chafing and they stay in place (the leg bands and waistband do not roll). The material is similar to shapewear, so they fit snug and they don't breathe well. I would recommend sizing up for additional comfort. Nevertheless, the bandelettes do prevent chafing and that's why I bought them.

No thigh chaffing! Not that comfortable.
I bought these last minute to go underneath my wedding dress when I found out it was going be 90s for my outdoor ceremony. They did the job of keeping my thighs from chaffing, however, they’re not that comfortable in general. The lace had some stretch to it, but not a lot. The seams aren’t very comfortable, and there is something in that kept scratching my lower back in the material. I spent probably 30 minutes while the lady did my hair trying to find it and couldn’t. I had taken the tags off, and looked for any plastic pieces. But the material was generally on the scratchy side. I still wore panties underneath to help the more intimate places stay comfortable.Sizing: I followed the charts and what others said. They fit how I expected. They have a little bit of give, but not something you would want to use to tuck things into place or slim down for under a dress.

I should have known... lace...
I’m an idiot for trying these. Lace between thick thighs IS a bad idea, and these didn’t say up. I’m between a size 1x/2x with a narrower waist and thick everything else. These fit my thighs but drooped all day. Also, the lace is rough and not cool. But that’s lace right?! What a silly girl I am for even trying them. I was looking for something my complexion and this was the closest but I found them uncomfortable, too large even though the thighs fit, and I still wasn’t cool in my dress. I also tried a more expensive brand with Chaf in the name. Waaaay better fit, material, coolmax did its job, and I felt so comfortable. Maybe if you try this brand, don’t get the lace. Perhaps the fit will be better. As for me, I’m putting these in the trash.

Save your thighs!
I'm surprised at how well these are working out for me. I was afraid that they would ride up the leg but they don't - they stay put. Last summer I got the Bandelettes thigh bands and I was constantly adjusting them. These don't have to be adjusted. My only issue is that there is little butt fabric so when I wear them, the waist band doesn't pull up very far in the back but the front pulls up to my belly button. It was weird at first but now I'm used to it. Because of that part of the design I can't give these 5 stars. My thighs are happy, though!

I love the fact that these don’t slide up my leg
I love the fact that these don’t slide up my leg, and they really protect my legs from that dreaded chub-rub. These are going to be a lifesaver for me, as I live in the desert where it is 120 degrees for three months and stays hot until end of October. My only complaint is that the waistband slides down throughout the day so I’m constantly having to pull it back up. I wish there was silicone on the waistband too.

These were perfect!
The first pair I purchased, based on the size graph, were way to large. But returning was a breeze and I got the next size down and they fit like a glove. The first wear was on a particularly "swampy" day and they were perfect! I'd definitely buy more!
