impossible to clean
Though this product achieves what it is intended to, however there are some caveats that are very bothersome.1) The high temperature baked grease on the bottom tray is almost impossible to clean and the sides become less shiner with more use. The Pizza shelf site does not provide any clue to cleaning their product.2) The cooked Pizzas looked amazing but the bottom is pale as noted by another reviewer possibly due to less heat retained in the thin bottom>>3) The dimensions make no sense. !5 by 13.5. So it is technically made for a 12 inch Pizza. Why not 15 by 15 or !5 by 14.5 ??

It makes a good pie. Metal bends under extreme heat though.
This is an advanced culinary tool if you are going to make a pie. I prefer my pies on a well heated stone, however, I found that this stainless steel pizza shelf really does a great job at making that classic Neapolitan style pizza. It's pretty unforgiving though. Your dough needs to be proper and "dry" if you plan on getting it off of this thing. Otherwise, the pie will cook unevenly and it will be a mess. My only, ONLY, complaint is that the Pizza Shelf warps if it gets too hot. One side (the left front side in my case) will bend up if you're doing a couple of pies. So, just be careful with that, and its super easy to clean.

Better than expected.
I make Neapolitan pizzas and Turkish pizzas (Lahmacun) at home. I was using a pizza stone and:1. It was taking so much time to reach the maximum heat.2. The maximum heat I reached was below 600.3. It was losing most of the heat at the first pizza (or second lahmacun because lahmacun is smaller and thinner).4. You can not really clean pizza stone.So I looked for baking steels and saw pizzashelf. Double or triple the price of other pizza steels but I gave a try and it worked great! It reached nearly 800 and as I experienced it was what I need. It takes less time to heat at first and does not lose heat (or reheats so fast) so I don't have to wait for the 3rd lahmacun. Definitely easy to clean. One small upgrade for me and a giant leap for the pizzas and lahmacuns that I bake.

Major warping
The reviews about warping are serious. Photo is during third use, the left side is 2 inches higher than the right. Also, it's basically impossible to sweep off excess flour between cooks due to the walls. That said, it browns crust so well, pizzas cook in 3 minutes.

Good
It takes longer than 90 seconds. But in their defense I have an electric oven. I think it makes a difference. More like 4 minutes. Still good

The best way to get great pizza from a regular gas oven
I got the Pizza Shelf via Kickstarter a while back. Without a doubt, this is the best pizza I have ever made. And I’ve been making pizza from scratch since I was a teenager in the 1970s. I’ve gone through several pizza stones. Before the Pizza Shelf, I was a big fan of the Baking Steel, which is still a good product and is your best option if you don’t have a gas broiler.It’s a bit tricky to get the hang of, since you have to preheat it with the oven’s bake mode for a half hour or so, then more preheating with the broiler. Read their instructions carefully - they know what they are talking about. I’ve checked the temperature with my Infrared thermometer and it maxed out somewhere in the 900s, but it got too hot to try to get an accurate reading. That’s good!The only caveats are that you shouldn’t overload your pizza with ingredients. Let the crust be the star, because it is amazing! Also, look for the “72 hour pizza dough” from Baking Steel, it will change your life. Especially if you get some good Type 00 Italian flour. Amazon has good prices on that.

Love this!
Had friends over for pizzas last night and we made probably 10 pizzas over the course of the evening. Each pizza took only a minute or two to cook!! It was amazing!! And the pizzas were super tasty and cooked perfectly throughout. We even tried cooking without the shelf just to see the difference - it took 30 mins without the shelf and the dough had a raw dough smell and was a little tacky still. Couldn’t believe the difference, so much fun, it even became a talking point for the night with everyone trying their own version of a pizza! We even made a pizza with Chinese leftovers for toppings which was voted the best pizza of the night. Love it!!

If you LOVE Pizza, you need PIZZA SHELF
Pizza Shelf is AMAZING! From someone who loves Pizza, the taste and quality of the pies this thing cranks out is AWESOME! On top of being a Pizza making machine, I love using my Pizza Shelf as a griddle, I’ve made some delicious burgers, hot dogs, wings and even some pancakes with this bad boy! Gather some friends, grab your Pizza Shelf and enjoy that “brick oven” taste right from your home oven!
