Decent Design, Questionable Quality
Like others I have found this mouse to be somewhat of a headache. My original Intuos 3 mouse began registering multiple clicks on the left button after about 18 months of use. Cleaning the interior did not solve the problem. So I bought another and I hope that it will last, because I really like the Intuos tablet and I cannot use the pen for everything. As far as the mouse goes, it is fairly comfortable, but not spectacular ineither design or performance. The side buttons are stiff and have a very loud click. The felt bottom is a real bummer, and needs cleaning frequently. The best cleaning is to rub tape on the felt and pull some of the accumulated gunk out that way. With my new one I have placed this tape, (CS Hyde Skived PTFE with Silicone Adhesive, Liner, 5mm Thick, Tan) over the felt. It seems to work well.

Wacom Mouse
My old Wacom mouse stopped working so I ordered a new one through Amazon. The mouse works fine but I was very disappointed with the $30 shipping fee for a three day delivery. That's excessive in anybody's book. Not sure I'll use Amazon very much in the future for that reason.John WhiteCharlotte, NC

Mice and mice and mice.
I have been told that I have the actual first 12x19 Intouse3 tablet sold in the Americas.Due to the fact that I use it as my primary pointing device, I tend to be a bit harder on mice than others.I have no intention of replacing my tablet any time soon, so I buy extra replacement mice. This an OEM part that does what it was intend to do, so I go with it.

WACOM Mice have the lifespan of a fruit fly.
Ok, well maybe not a a fruit fly. Bought on the 4th of April and I have official retired it as of May 30th. Only 6 weeks of life for $50... So, I love my WACOM tablet, don't get me wrong. I have an Intuos 3, I love the pen, and I love the functionality of the mouse, but this is the second one I have replaced in a year. The buttons innerds are just gumming up and I am no longer able to clean the blooming thing. In fact, the previous mouse found it's final end, bouncing off my office wall. This one I had hoped would still be under warranty. I am going to contact WACOM, in the mean time I will be looking for a mouse with more longevity.

Will break eventually
I use a 12x9 tablet (which takes up a lot of desk space), so it's really inefficient for me to use a separate mouse. I do like the fact that it's like having a wireless mouse with no batteries required, and I can switch to my pen when it's time to work on graphics. However, like others have noted here, the build quality isn't great and after a bit of normal use you will begin to notice some problems. After 18 months of normal use, mine occasionally fails to register a click and I would say 7-10% of the time it DOUBLE clicks when I click once (which is infuriating in its own right). The buttons are starting to feel "loose" and the microfiber pad is pretty much destroyed. I've taken this thing apart and installed new drivers several times to try to get it working. It's really annoying how I'm probably going to have to buy yet another in a year or 2.My $10 Microsoft mouse that I bought 7 years ago works perfectly fine even after being kicked around in my laptop bag yet the $400 Wacom unit fails.**UPDATE**6 months after my original review, my replacement Wacom mouse is one again broken. This time my middle click registers as both a middle and right click simultaneously. This was the last time and I will no longer be using this mouse. I can't believe I have to shelf my tablet to make room for a regular mouse because of this.
