Tasty product! AMAZING customer service!
This product was very tasty but hard to use. The product separated into a top molasses like layer and a thick sludgy layer on the bottom. I did not realize this until I almost got to the end of the bottle. I sent an e-mail through Amazon to Optimum Planet. I was AMAZED! Not 10 minutes after I sent the e-mail I got a call from the owner of the company. We talked about my problem and he told me how to deal with it - warm the product slightly and stir it well. The customer can then pour the product into a wide mouthed jar if that makes it easier to use. He said they are going to add these directions to the recipe book that comes with the syrup and that they will be changing the bottle design to a wider mouth to make the product easier to use.

Yacon Syrup
It is exactly as most people say, "It tastes like maple syrup." That's not a bad thing since I love lots of syrup on my pancakes. Actually, I don't use maple syrup but if you like the typical syrups we use on pancakes, etc., then you won't mind the taste of yacon syrup. I don't believe it's a good idea to use yacon syrup for weight loss because it can flush out important nutrients too soon which your body needs. I use yacon syrup on occasion as a supplement to keep my digestive system regular. The price is a bit high but it definitely works.

This is a good product
After using this for my very first time, I noticed how it calmed my system down and could immediately feel my blood sugars normalizing. Although this is a wonderful product, the cost will keep me from purchasing it again because when you take it as directed, and since the bottle is not completely full, only lasts for 2 weeks and I do not want to spend $30-35 monthly as there are other low cost products that can help in regulating blood sugars. I heard about this product on Dr. Oz and he has since introduced other products that can possibly help regulate your blood sugars that are at a lower cost and ones that I am willing to try before coming back to this product.

No recipe booklet!!!!
It is a little sweet but.... being a diabetic I don't use sugar or sugar products much. The taste is different but good. I haven't noticed any differences yet. I DID NOT GET A RECIPE BOOKLET?!?!?!?!After over a year with the bottle upside down I still can't the remainder of the stuff out. It's like it is glued in the bottle.

Yacon Syrup tastes great and I am losing weight...
I have gone through two bottles and find this product curbs my appetite. I love the taste and sometimes cheat by eating more than a teaspoon. I had the privilege to talk with people at Optimum Planet about their products. Very nice people with lots of information! I recommend this product.

I like the syrup but haven't used it long enough to see if I get the benefits according to Dr. OZ. I expected to get a hard copy of the recipe book and am very disappointed that I have to download an ecopy. This should have been made clear in the add as I only chose this product because I thought I would be getting the book. I don't use my computer in the kitchen.

It really does work!
I would recommend this product to any of my friends. I purchased two bottles about three weeks ago and I have lost 9 pounds and two jean sizes! Just reordered 10 more bottles. Will find out tomorrow if my bad LDL and my A1c has changed for the better.The Yacon has a great taste too. I take 3 tablespoons 3 times a day. Where has this product been for the last 20 years?? I have spent so much money on other weight loss programs. I just wished the price on this product would come down some or have a better promotional sale for people who order in large volume.Thank you so much for a great product.

Great Tasting
As compared to other syrups I tried, this one has a nice rich sweet flavor. And it is affordable usually below $20 for an 8oz bottle which last maybe 2 wks. It would be nice to have a 16oz bottle available.I found it didn't work right away but if you stick to it, modify your carbs & fats and do the suggested 3x/day it should help with losing some of the belly fat and some weight loss with moderate exercise.
