Didn't You Used to Be

The best songs on this CD are Raindrops, For All the Lonely, Like Father, Like Son and One True Love. David Cassidy's vocals are soulful. One True Love could have been better without the overkill of the choral performance. What I liked the best is that the majority of the material is written by David Cassidy and ex-wife Sue Shifrin. Ms. Shifrin definitely gave Cassidy a different sound. He does an excellent job of emoting with his unique vocal capabilities. DJ's who spin "the Oldies" need to play the music David recorded after the "Rock Me Baby" LP was released. It just gets better as Cassidy gets older!!!!

I ❤️ David Cassidy. He wrote most of the songs on the sound track. He had help from his 3rd wife & one other. Very happy.

This album covers so many types of music, from the feel of soulful ballads, blues, rock and even a gospel-style tune, flawlessly moving from one to the other. This is accomplished by the amazing voice of David Cassidy! His vocal range is outstanding - he can take a song of any kind, as I found in this album, and command it without effort (or at least that how it comes across). He can go from a breathy, earthy feel to slightly raspy to a powerfully strong voice in a heartbeat! What an amazing voice!!! There wasn't a song that I didn't like! I highly recommend this album!

These are new songs, and it is nice to hear some new material. The lyrics in these songs are beautiful. Some of my favorite songs are "Raindrops";" I'll Never Stop Loving You", "Like Father, Like Son", and "One True Love." It is also nice to hear Sue Shifrin's work. She is very talented. David and Sue make a great team.

I felt so lucky to finally get a copy of this CD. Excellent!

David Cassidy remembers me to my youth. The song I`ll never stop loving you is one of the most beautiful love songs I ever heard.

I grew up listening to his music and watching his shows. Very good cd if you are a fan of David Cassidy. But I doubt my daughter would like it, so stick to buying this for people who like oldies.

He's still got it. I loved him then and I love him still, very good songs,I just wish he had something to release now
